"After living in Denmark, Indonesia and travelling around Europe and Asia, I came back to my beloved hometown Lisbon, Portugal. My passion for history, sociology and travelling made me create a non touristic, personalized, innovative yet traditional guided tour through Lisbon (Baixa, Chiado, Cais do Sodré, Bairro-Alto, Alfama, Belém, Graça, São Bento, Santos, Lapa, Príncipe Real, Estrela, Monsanto) Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais to name a few.

Each one is welcomed and treated according to their own travelling preferences and goals.

You can join my adventurous Portugal travelling experiences on vintage cars as my favourite Beetle, bike or even walking tours, through city streets, beaches, mountains, you name it. Personalize your dream tour and let me know!

My sisters, mam, and I had a wonderful 3-hour walking tour of Lisbon with Henrique. He was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about both Lisbon and history in general. He took the time to answer all our questions along the way. Henrique’s relaxed and friendly manner made the experience even more enjoyable. He never rushed us and made sure we were comfortable throughout the tour. We finished off at the TimeOut Market, where we enjoyed some well-deserved food and drinks — a perfect ending to a great afternoon. Highly recommend Henrique to anyone looking to explore Lisbon with a guide who truly loves what he does!Fantastic Walking Tour with Henrique!

Henrique is not only a fantastic and super knowledgeable guide ….but just genuinely a really good guy. Down to earth and very likable. This walking tour was an absolute highlight of our trip to Lisbon. From the moment we met Henrique, it was clear we were in for something special. Rather than just ticking off tourist spots, we were invited into the soul of the city…its hidden alleyways, breathtaking viewpoints, yes … elevators!!! and the stories behind all. Henrique was a masterful storyteller: passionate, deeply knowledgeable. We learned about the city's layered history, its culture, its resilience after the earthquake and so much more. What made this tour stand out was the personal connection. It didn’t feel scripted. It felt like being shown around by a friend who genuinely loves their city and wants you to fall in love with it too. If you're visiting Lisbon, book Henrique. Passion for his home and history, Henrique tapped in to our interests and lead us through Lisbon giving details about points of interest that we could only get from someone who grew up and has lived the city. We've been on many guided tours and this was easily our favorite. Henrique had the perfect walking tour mapped out as we walked from one district to the next. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly which made this tour so special. We walked through all the neighborhoods and received incredible history lessons along the way. The stop in the Alfama at the little store for a "refreshment" was well-thought and very special. We highly recommend Henrique and any tours he offers. My husband and I had a fantastic tour with Henrique this weekend. He was extremely accommodating and rescheduled our tour for a later time after we had a flight delay. As for the tour, Henrique did a masterful job in presenting Lisbon's rich history and culture. I felt like I was in a Masterclass where I could ask questions, from food, to architecture, to the Holy Roman Empire. He is so kind, and we never felt rushed. Thank you, Henrique!Excellent Tour

Had a great tour with Henrique, if you could call it a 'tour'--it was more like a platonic Before Sunrise, where you're hanging out and chatting and walking, but just happen to stop by places that are customized to your interests. Two of mine happen to be history and literature, so we saw some of the notable sites in the evolution of Lisbon, as well as monuments to significant authors. Nothing felt rote or routine, and even if Henrique's done this thousands of times before, it never came across as scripted. He's flexible to adjusting your itinerary in a natural/organic way as the day progresses, and the time flew by. Thanks again for the experience.Insightful and empathetic

Henrique was a wonderful, thoughtful, highly educated and engaging guide during our Hidden Gems of Lisbon tour. His knowledge and love for Portugal and Lisbon was evident throughout our tour in Lisbon. He was always attentive to our needs and special requests. We ended the tour near the public market where they have a large hall featuring some of the great eateries and drinking establishments of Lisbon. Henrique is a “must have guide” while in Lisbon. Henrique was knowledgeable, a great story teller and pleasant. He kept our family of 5, including 3 teenagers, engaged the entire 3 hours. He gave us suggestions on where to eat and what to see as well. A great experience! Entertsining and infornstive
