Konnichiwa and welcome to Japan!

I am Japanese guy currently living in Kyoto. While a student studying international business management, I spent time in Shiga, near Nagoya and Kyoto and a short study abroad experience in Australia, UK and Israel. Having lived and worked in 7 cities, 3 countries and traveled to 45 countries,

After working in Israel and Ireland, I came back to Japan in 2019. I enjoy meeting tour guests from all over the world.

Through my tours, my goal is to make my guests want to come back to Japan again and to recommend them to their friends. I believe that my mission is to efficiently guide you through the cities I love in a limited amount of time through my unique perspective.

Let me focus on Kyoto even I do offer tour in Osaka, Nara, Himeji, Kobe, Tokyo, Hiroshima and Nagoya.

Not to generalize, but Kyoto people long history of being the base of culture, religion, and political power, the people are quite reserved

outside the main tourist areas.

Throughout my time visiting, studying when I was college student and touring Kyoto, I’ve found that sometimes the simplest of

restaurants create my best experiences. From Kyoto’s thousand years of being the home of royalty, aristocracy, religious and

political leaders, respecting time while eating appears to me a key to enjoying and being surprised by the food.

From a lovely older couple who run their Michelin starred Soba noodle restaurant owners who focus off the quality of their

customers’ experience as much as they do their award-winning broth dishes. soba with special broth, aroma deep flavor

you will remember cozy, family owned, intimate and small.

To the fun okonomiyaki, a kind of vegetable pancake that is mostly popular in Osaka, but Kyoto has its own take and again

the smallest the shops the more special the experience and food. The staff at my favorite okonomiyaki shop really respect

the customers and their time in their shop. Their approach is to make their okonomiyaki fluffy and light, much like the best

French omelets, and which is served on a hot plate.

I always try my best to get prepared for you to enjoy your visit to my home country. I just got national tour conductor license.

I'm constantly learning to be able to provide an enriching experience. If we come across some questions I cannot answer

right away, I will be happy to do some research and get back with a full answer.

For foodie, I can give you good places for all type of requirements, such as Vegetarian, vegan, Kosher or Halal.

If you are coming with your parents/kids, I will arrange the tour for a shorter walking distance.

I offer private car tour, walking tour, shore excursion trip and all tour can be personalized custom tour.

Note: If your inquiry is for the tour coming for the next one week, I require you to book the tour first of all to secure time for both of us.

Me and my wife had an amazing food tour around Osaka with Hiroki. We tried a number of specialities of the city, and Hiroki’s knowledge of the food scene led us to some really special places to eat, some of which we would not have experienced without this tour. Thank you Hiroki for amazing experience. We were looking for guided culinary tour as a family (2 adults and 3 teenagers). We started through busy Namba area, and Hiroki took us to very special and diverse restaurants, each very different from another with special atmosphere and delicious food. Calmly navigating through the crowded streets, Hiroki made us feel cozy and comfortable. We also had a lot of question about the culture and Hiroki was eager to share his insight, which made our experience even more meaningful. Thank you again. Amazing culinary experience in Osaka

We enjoyed our food tour with Hiroki. The food was delicious and filling… To the point, we did not have room for dessert! Hiroki was very responsive to our questions, and extremely accommodating. I Communicated with him several times before our trip to Osaka with questions and felt that I had a friend in Japan who I could reach out to.Very Enjoyable

I had a fantastic experience with guide Hiroki in Osaka. We exchanged messages beforehand to plan our itinerary and make the most of our time. Upon meeting at the cruise port, Hiroki expertly navigated us to the Imperial Palace, arranging a shuttle van to accommodate my mobility needs. He provided a captivating history lesson on the palace grounds. Afterwards, we headed to Dotonbori, where we enjoyed an exceptional dinner at a Yakitori restaurant specializing in grilled chicken skewers. Hiroki's thoughtfulness extended beyond the meal, as he surprised us with a delightful local cheesecake dessert. His knowledge and engaging personality made the experience truly unforgettable. Hiroki was really nice and chill. He told us about culture and history as we walked (our preference) through the city through different shrines, churches etc while we tasted different foods. When he found out I preferred gluten free he accommodated us with the food spots. We got a really nice diverse tour of the city which was great for our few days in Osaka. I’m sure he would also tour you through Kyoto!Tour and food through Osaka

Hiroki is very knowledgeable about not just Osaka, but also Kyoto and other parts of Japan. He was able to answer many questions I had about the history of this city, and was extremely patient as I navigated the many streets and stops with him. He is also very well-traveled himself and therefore understands what sights and information appeal to tourists. I highly recommend booking a tour with him if this is your first time to Osaka.Hiroki is an incredibly experienced traveler himself and has excellent intuition about how to guide tourists around Osaka.
