It said meet at Time Out Market, then taste food, then hear Fado.
It seemed like we would eat in Time Out market but all we did was meet there and have a shot. Then we walked ALL UPHILL to get to Fado restaurant. And then, It was as if he expected us to buy him dinner. The description didn't say walk uphill and go to Fado restaurant. Terrible, terrible tour. This is a rip off- not as described

hatten ein tollen Abend. Hugo ist super nett und war ein angenehmer Reiseführer. Wir fühlten uns gut aufgehoben und die Fado Sängerin war Weltklasse. Muss man mal erlebt haben.
Ansonsten kann ich Hugo bestens weiterempfehlen.Tolle Erfahrung

Hugo ist ein Türöffner. Zu der kleinen Tasca, hinter deren unscheinbarem Eingang beste Petiscos serviert werden. Zum berühmten Fado-Lokal: Dort kennt er den Menschen, der den Einlass regelt - und so kann man da spätabends entspannt ein, zwei Bier trinken und zuhören, was gerade gesungen wird. Mit ihm lässt sich wunderbar diskutieren, ob Mariza nun die legitime Nachfolgerin von Amalia Rodrigues ist oder nicht. Oder über Wein aus dem Alentejo und Douro. Und über vieles andere. Hugo hat einen weiten Horizont - ich habe den Abend sehr genossen.Türöffner

Enjoyed our traditional Fado Portuguese music evening. The singer and music were wonderful. Good neighborhood spot. Note: be prepared for an expensive evening since food is a bit pricey. Really good ‘Fado’ experience!

Hugo was very accommodating from the start. When he learned we were staying in Chiado he offered to meet us at our hotel. We walked around the area a bit where is explained Lisbon's history and showed us a few sites. We then went to a very small local Fado restaurant where he helped us order both food and drink and explained Fado. We sat through two sets of music (3 to 4 songs per set). Hugo is better looking in person than his picture. His English is perfect and he is very personable. Highly recommend this tour.Wonderful evening

Hugo the guide was fantastic with his local knowledge of the area and Portuguese history generally. The Fado performance was very good - impressive musicians. The food selection was varied and delicious - recommend the octopus fillets. The rooftop bar we ended the tour in was also a special "find"Great experience - highly recommended

Hugo showed us around town, shared about Portuguese history, music and people, and then we spent the evening together in a lovely little restaurant with a beautiful Fado quartet that really touched the soul.
Really recommend a night out with Hugo❤️Great evening out and about with Hugo

From the initial time of booking, Hugo was in contact with me through What’s App. He made it incredibly easy to find him and he made everything clear regarding what we would be doing. Absolutely wonderful evening- excellent Fado singer and wonderful restaurant. We never would have seen the interesting neighborhood he took us to. Having a private local guide made our visit so much more meaningful. I never write reviews, but Hugo deserves a perfect score😍😅😍Perfect Evening

It was a real immersion in Lisbon's life. Hugo brought us to the most interesting places and made us discover the real fado in Lisbon! Highly recommended! :)The nicest guide we could meet
