We are a family of 5 who met with Ioannis on our first day in Athens. He was fabulous !! He was very knowledgeable about history and culture and shares with is us some Greek mythology too. He recommended wonderful out of the way places to go back to, which we did, including a rooftop bar and a delicious traditional restaurant away from the tourists. Would highly recommend Ioannou. We found him to be very personable. Adult Family Holiday

Ioannis was the perfect guide. His initial greeting was gracious and welcoming. I had written to him before the tour to inform him that I required a slow pace and occasional rest stops. He crafted the perfect walking tour for these old bones. It was clear from his commentary that he loved his country and he loved showing it off to visitors. I would most definitely recommend him highly.

What a great experience we had with Ioannis. He clearly takes great pride in sharing his love for Athens and the food and culture there Don’t expect to walk around the touristy areas. Ioannis took us off the beaten path to vibrant local neighborhoods where we experienced how real Greeks eat and shop. The dinner spot he chose for us set the bar for every meal we had during our entire 12-day trip—it became our gold standard! Real authentic cuisine. Most importantly, Ioannis was incredibly accommodating, especially when it came to my food allergy. Not only did he handle it with care, but he also kept the mood light and fun and managed to turn those moments into laughs. Ioannis always found delicious alternatives so I never felt like I was missing out. Anyone with a food allergy knows how hard it is to share in the joys of food in other countries. I highly recommend Ioannis to anyone looking for a genuine, warm, and memorable Big Fat Greek Food Tour Experience. Great Experience - from the Lolli Family

We had a great few hours. Ianny is very nice and knowledgeable and showed us places we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Good pace, not overwhelmed with history but definitely appreciated the info he provided. Would recommend in a heartbeat.Great way to kickstart a trip to Athens

Ioanni was amazing!!!! We were SO happy we hired him for our morning tour through part of the center. Ioannis masterfully wove mythology, architecture, history, and cultural information all together. We had two teenagers with us and while history and mythology isn’t really their thing, ioannis included them and made it a bit more interactive. We loved his explanation of the Agora, our walk through Anafiotika (neighborhood of tiny homes at base of Acropolis in the Plaka), and our walk through various neighborhoods. So much info packed in a few hours!!!! Wonderful!

Ioannis was a wonderful guide. He is very knowledgeable about this history of Greece. He took up on the Cape Sounio tour. Ioannis was prompt, friendly, passionate about Greece. He truly went out of his was to meet any requests we had. He chose a wonderful lunch spot for us along the coast, which had the freshest seafood and a stunning view. He made sure we had a wonderful table, which was kind gesture. He found us a perfect spot along the coast free from the crowds, we went on our tour on a Greek holiday, so the beaches were unusually busy. I highly recommend Ioannis for any tour you choose.Fantastic guide

C’était une excellente après-midi, Yanni a été à l’écoute de nos demandes et a satisfait nos curiosités… jolies découvertes entre street art et ruelles d’Anafiotika … et ce qu’il faut d’histoire pour comprendre et aimer ce qu’on voit ! Et il a été très généreux de son temps…À la revoyure à Marseille!Un super moment partagé
