Having visited Budapest several times before, we were looking for a more off-the-beaten-path experience—and Irene delivered exactly that. She guided us through some truly hidden gems in Pest that we would never have discovered on our own.
Her deep knowledge of the city’s history added so much value to the walk, with fascinating stories and historical insights. As a perfect ending to the tour, Irene took us to a cozy little coffee shop—one we would have never thought to enter ourselves—where we enjoyed a relaxing break.
She also generously shared many helpful tips for the rest of our city trip, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Irene was an outstanding guide—fluent in perfect English and also speaks Polish, Spanish, and Hungarian. From the very beginning, she was prompt, responsive, and helpful with all my questions. Her Off the Beaten Path tour is a fantastic experience, packed with hidden gems and fascinating insights you wouldn’t discover on your own.
This tour is a perfect choice for a second day in Budapest, especially after seeing the main tourist attractions. Irene even adapted the itinerary on the spot to take advantage of a rare opportunity to visit a location that's usually closed to the public—a real highlight!

Irene is awesome and very patient. I forgot that I made our start time one hour earlier from the time allowed on the with local website. We showed up an hour late, yet Irene was still there. She was a lot of fun and took us to most of the locations I requested. Before our trip I gave her a list of about 40 sights I wanted to see while in Budapest. She went through the sights and listed which ones were included on her tours and which ones would be possible to add to the tours and which ones were too far away. It probably took her an hour, and I hadn't booked a tour yet! If there is a ranking for all the Budapest tour guides, she should be number one. Irene is awesome

It was my third time in Budapest and Irene still showed me things that I didn't see before on my other trips. On our tour we also got great tips for the rest of our trip or even the next visit to Budapest. For example we've tasted plenty of chocolates when the chocolate shop was open.
At the end of our tour we've got a nice bonus. We turned our drinks after the tour into an improvised wine tasting. Irene gave us a selection of various Hungarian wines in a nice "ruin" pub.

Irene is a true local from Budapest and you can feel how she likes to share her home town Budapest with you. A lot of facts, personal anecdotes and stories - you almost feel a little bit local at the end of the tour.
She is very good in providing information beneath the surprise that you may not expect.
