Born and raised on the Northside of Dublin, I am a qualified tour guide and have been active professionally for many years now. Not one for wasting time, I discovered tour guiding while awaiting the results of a couple of interviews for call centre management jobs. If life is what happens while you’re making other plans – then tour guiding is what happened to my career!

The fact that I prefer working outdoors – whatever the weather – probably owes something to my family history among farming folk on Ireland’s rugged Western seaboard. Perhaps because of these earthy origins, I talk Irish Blarney fluently and like to spice up my tours with quirky and unusual subjects such as referencing the Viking Sagas (which mention Dublin a lot), the fact that Dublin once had its own time zone (did you know that?), as well as a smattering of the local Liffeyside humour.

I'm absolutely passionate about Dublin, its history and its people and can't wait to share with you the hidden corners and curiosities of this 'City of Old Statutes'.

Jack was an energetic and knowledgeable tour guide through Dublin! Not only did he take us to some great pubs, but he was so knowledgeable about Dublin and Ireland's history. We learned so much about the heroes of Ireland's past, it's present, and even some Gaelic. What a great way to see Dublin! Jack was a fantastic guide, and was a wealth of knowledge. We saw many more interesting sights and learned far more than we could have done on our own in one day. Jack reached out to us well before our tour to understand what we wanted to see, and what our interests were. Based on that feedback he composed a custom itinerary which perfectly suited our needs. Additionally, Jack gave us great information to help us navigate the Cliffs of Howth on our own the day after our tour. We saw far more than we could have possibly seen in 5 hours on our own, and saw many places of great interest we never would have found by ourselves. Highly recommend this tour and Jack as a guide.What a great way to see Dublin!

Loved Jack and loved the tour! Learned so much about the history of Dublin with thoughtful and funny stories. Jack was such a pleasure to talk with. Incredibly knowledgeable, and I felt like he really wanted to give us the best experience in Dublin. We were in great hands. My husband and I cannot imagine a more pleasant, considerate, and informed guide. We had a wonderful time from beginning to end. It was a memorable day. He is an amazing story teller and completed a site seeing experience with historical and cultural anecdotes. What a wonderful start to our Dublin visit! I had high expectations due to the amazing reviews and this tour still exceeded my expectations! Jack was SUPER informative with tons of historical facts and anecdotes. He was quick to respond to initial emails in setting up our meeting place, made sure we were on time for our next event, and hailed us a taxi before sending us on our way.
