Hi! My name is Javier and I am a huge fan of Granada city. Originally from a town of Granada province, I have been living in the city for more than 14 years since I came to study at the university long time ago.

I am a very outgoing and sociable person. I love languages, meeting new people, traveling, discovering new places and outdoor activities (here the weather is almost always good, so it helps a lot for my hobbies)

I work as a language teacher and in my free time I like to walk the city, play basketball, eat some taps with friends, go to language exchanges and discover new spots in the city or the sourrandings. For that, this city is amazing, every single year I find a new place, a new corner, a street in Albaycin I've never walked, a new favorite bar with tasty tapas and much more...

I am keen to show my city to travellers and tourists and I am willing to meet new people who are interested in having a unique experience of Granada from the viewpoint of a local.

Such a brilliant food taster tour with Javier. Such a personable young man, so easy to talk to. My husband and I really enjoyed trying some of the local food and wine in his company. Javier also told us some interesting history and local information, as well as ideas for the rest of our stay. Would definitely recommend this tour with Javier.Fabulous tour!

Our first day in Granada and we had the most wonderful, interesting, enjoyable and DELICIOUS food tour with Javier! Javier is fun, well-informed, and organized. He took us to a variety of great places where we enjoyed wonderful samplings of typical local fare, and he also shared history and interesting facts about Grenada as we walked around. We loved the places he took us too and the fabulous dishes they offered. Super fun afternoon and we recommend Javier highly…he brought it all to life for us. Thank you Javier :)Fantastic…better than we ever expected!

We had a great afternoon with Javier tasting food (and drinks) in bars, restaurants and shops we would never have found on our own. We also learned a lot of interesting stories and tidbits about Spanish history that we had not heard on previous tours. Javier’s relaxed manner and sense of humor made him a great host. Recorrer Granada con Javier fue un placerazo!! Nos guio por recorridos no turísticos y nos mostró rincones que jamás hubiéramos llegado solos. Javier es profesional, conocedor apasionado, súper cálido, alegre, fue un placer!!! Ir recorriendo las callecitas de Albaicin mientras escuchábamos la perspectiva de Javier fue un diferencial en nuestra visita a la ciudad que agregó muchísimo a nuestro encantamiento. Un placer!!!

We really enjoyed our tour with Javier. He is clearly passionate about Granada and it was fun to walk around with him. Unfortunately, some of us were not feeling great, which made the "food" part a little less fun - but that was not Javiers fault. Highly recommend.Good fun!

Where to start- this bike tour of Granada was incredible! We saw beautiful views of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, biked through town, and ate amazing tapas. Not only that but Javier was incredible! He's kind, cheers you on the whole way, and was so much fun to take the tour with. 11/10 would book again! Once in a Lifetime!
