I was born in Lisbon and I walk the city almost every day... and I love it because Lisbon it's an amazing city that can surprise us every day and when we least expect. Let's walk around and be surprised :-) I myself love to travel and be surprised ;-)

Worked in Marketing and in the nightlife business, but recently more conected to sustainability, inclusion and diversity issues and projects, as I believe we can all make our cities and communities a better place... ah, and studied Production in the Performing Arts! So... we already have a stage... Lisbon!

What a great afternoon. João is a wonderful conversationalist and a knowledgeable native of Lisbon. He gave us the perfect walking tour through various neighborhoods in Lisbon. All the while, sharing personal anecdotes, bits of history, and trivia about the city and each neighborhood. This was a perfect primer for our stay in Lisbon. João was an excellent guide. He tailored our tour to meet our mobility needs. He’s a great story teller and shared a mix of history and culture. He also helped us plan the rest of our trip. After the tour he sent us a list of recommendations and did additional research on a topic we discussed and wanted to learn more about. I’d recommend João to anyone coming to Lisbon!Great intro to Lisbon!

Nous nous sommes rendu à Lisbonne pour y rester que une nuit. João nous a concocté un programme de 3 heures qui nous a donné un vrai aperçu de la ville. Très sympa et très disponible, João est un professionnel très à l’écoute de vos souhaits et désir. De plus il est un passionné d’art et de littérature ce que a rendu notre visite très riche. João was terrific! My family (including my 18 and 21 y/o children) spent a terrific morning with João. He is kind, smart, informative, thoughtful, and has a vast amount of knowledge of Lisbon. It’s very clear how much he loves his city. The tour was tailored to our interests and the pace was perfect. I highly recommend booking a tour with João. We will certainly do so again when we return. Joao gave my partner and I a most thorough, fun and interesting walking tour tailored to our interests. Lots of fascinating history as we walked through El Barrio, Baixa, and central Lisbon. We were able to use his suggestions in planning our evening and following day. The tour made excellent use of our time. Wonderful introduction to Lisbon

Joao was a wonderful guide. He was so knowledgeable and made our walking tour so much fun. He was very patient with our feeble attempts to speak Portuguese! If you are interested in Lisbon’s fascinating history and art, Joao is the guide for you. We were late getting to our meeting spot but he was very flexible. We were so happy with our experience. 10 stars! Terrific guide!

Our private tour (my wife and I) with Joao was just perfect! He reached out to us prior so he could customize to our liking - we wanted to explore the various neighborhoods of Lisbon in order to get a genuine "feel" for the city, and Joao totally delivered. Joao is an easy-going guide with a wonderful sense of humor. He is extremely knowledgeable and provides just the right amount of history and detail. As requested, Joao also took us to places which only locals would know about to provide a truly personal experience. He helped us plan the remainder of our stay in Lisbon, and sent us an email after the tour summarizing our day along with fabulous recommendations for dinner (and gelato). We very much appreciated the recos and indeed, used them all and were very happy. We would recommend Joao without hesitation!Amazing tour with Joao!
