Brazilian photographer based in Paris since 1997. Today I am a correspondant from Polaris Images, an american photo agency. I have worked for the international press worldwide through different agencies, as Gamma, Gamma Liaison and Corbis publishing photo stories about social, economical and environmental subjects. I am a co-author of two books of the Amazon and I always visit my country with new photo projects.

We had an amazing private photo session in Paris. The itinerary included iconic spots like the Eiffel Tower at Trocadéro and Montmartre, and Joao Luiz perfectly balanced candid family moments with beautiful posed shots.
The photos we received were outstanding — natural, timeless, and truly captured our family dynamic. Best of all, we got professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered the very next day.

Joao was an incredible tour guide and photographer. He was very knowledgeable and showed us everything we wanted to see. He took his time and made sure we took everything in and had us posing for all the right angles for all the attractions we were at. I highly recommend him for any first timers visiting Paris. We had an excellent day. What a wonderful day

We're a family of 4 from the US and I wanted to tour Montmatre so after doing some research, I decided to book the photo shoot/walking tour/food tour with João and he did not disappoint! He was on time and met us by the metro station. After a brief introduction, the tour promptly started. João is very knowledgeable and professional. He showed us and recommended places that only locals would know. The photo shoot was amazing too, my daughters really loved it! 2 hours went by very quick and that's when you know the tour was amazing! I definitely recommend booking with João, it's like 3 tours in 1! Photo shoot/walking tour/food tour

Joao was a wonderful guide. He was friendly and showed us some lovely places around Montmartre.
He was also very accommodating. We had our 9 year old boy with us, who was fascinated with Photography. Joao was very patient with him and encouraged him to take photos too.
We all had a wonderful afternoon and our glad Joao was able to help us make some memories in Paris together.Friendly, Accommodating, Wonderful

We booked with Joao for a walk and photos of our family of five (two adults, three children ages 4, 7, and 9). The walk itself was lovely, we all really enjoyed seeing the neighborhood and stopping here and there for a few sweet treats. The photos were also really wonderful! He did a great job capturing some natural pictures of us all. I would definitely recommend!

We loved our time with Joao and have the beautiful photos to remember it by. Such a fun way to see an area and have it documented as well. He is so sweet and flexible and we highly recommend! He was great with our daughters and kept us all engaged and captured some really great moments! A must do!So much fun!!

We loved our tour with Joao! He loved the Monmartre area and knew all the ins and outs to show us! The artists around Sacre-Coeur were wonderful. The views are the best! Thx! Wonderful tour, guide, and area!
