Had an awesome tour with my guide Joo Bee. Joo Bee was exceptionally knowledgeable about the local art, food, history, and all facets of what make Georgetown so interesting. She tailored the walk to my interests and made sure all my needs were met. I was left feeling as if I really experienced the historical center.Off the beaten track in Penang

Joo Bee is a fantastic tour guide. She is enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. We not only saw the historic highlights but learnt about the culture, hidden food gems and the art. Joo knew all the answers to our questions and led a personalised tour checking with us throughout what we would like to see next. We would highly recommend Joo Bee’s tour and we have since gone to many of her food recommendations which have all been amazing. Thanks for making our stay in Georgetown one to remember! I bought a family tour around Georgetown with Joo Bee for my husbands birthday. We both loved the information about the different sights in Georgetown including the street art, and Joo Bee was very knowledgeable. She made allowances for our children when they were in need of a cafe break! She clearly loves Penang and that enthusiasm made the tour extra special. A great aftetnoon

We booked Joo Bee for the Highlights & Hidden Gems of Penang. Joo Bee brought the streets of George Town World Heritage Site to life with her stories of the city. Joo Bee took us to Moh Teng Pheow Nyonya Koay, a Nyonya kuih (cake) establishment founded in 1933. The kuih and kaya taste authentically nonya and fresh because they are made daily. The taste brought back memories of childhood when kaya was home made by grandma and mum. We now understand where the names of streets came from e.g. Love Lane, Cannon Street, Harmony Street, etc. Joo Bee helped us picture the lives of the people who lived in George Town during the 18th century as we walk down these streets. This is the best and most efficient way to appreciate Penang. Experience the history of George Town

Joo Bee was superb as a guide and even better as an all round great person. I wasn't feeling very well on the day of my tour but she was kind and patient with me. We still got to see most things and she explained everything . No question seemed too silly for her to answer . I would recommend Joo 100% as she has the history of Penang and Malaysia in general steeped in her very being. She shares her knowledge with ease and grace. I truly recommend you go with Joo as she will show you the hidden gems that we as tourists would find hard to locate even using maps. I even tried durian for the first time in an ice cream form on our walk - not for me I'm afraid ! We had fun and laughs along the way as well has being given the history of Georgetown - It takes great skill to be as good a guide as JooBee👍🫰💕 Thanks a million and who knows maybe our paths will cross again . This guided tour was so worth it. There were places in Georgetown that I would never have found or known about if I tried to do it myself. A mixture of history, culture, art and the best places to eat. Joo Bee was very informative and friendly. The value of a private tour is adapting it to fit your interests and pace. I thoroughly recommend Joo Bee as a guide. Wonderful and informative

Joo Bee showed us a wonderful time touring Penang. We booked the tour for our first day to see the city and get recommendations for our weekend and Joo Bee did not disappoint. We took in the street art while marking down restaurants and shops that she recommended we visit later. Great way to start our weekend. Highly recommend. Great time in Penang with Joo Bee

Our family had a 10/10 experience with Joo Bee on our walking tour through Georgetown. Joo was very patient with my young children. She adapted the tour as we were walking (especially since it was a hot day) and sought out experiences my children loved. Joo shared lots of local history and information, took us to cool places to eat/shop and gave many recommendations for places to visit - I fell in love with Georgetown again and now have so many places to go back to. I could easily spend a day with Joo listening and learning about Penang. Highly recommend a tour with Joo. Wonderful walking tour
