I'm something of a rarity: I was born in Toronto. 75% of the people who live here moved here from other parts of Canada or other parts of the world. Not only have I lived here my whole life, but I'm an award nominated local historian and also the author of the Craft Beer guide for the province of Ontario.

While I've been specializing in the culinary and sightseeing tours that Withlocals offers, I'm sometimes asked to customize itineraries. Whether that's a bespoke walk through Chinatown for authentic Southeast Asian specialties or an introduction to the city's high points, I'm game for just about anything that doesn't involve driving.

Thanks Jordan for a great day on our food tour, pointing out the places we would not have found on our own, and finding some fantastic local produce, both food and drinks for us to try. It was good to get your perspective of life living in Toronto, and as a result of your local knowledge, we know have a greater understanding of the some of the history of Toronto and its architecture, both key moments of the past and some of the more lighthearted ones. This was a great way to start our vacation, we all enjoyed it, and will be going back to visit places you took us to. I am sure we will visit Toronto again in the future, and would not hesitated to do a tour with you again. Great day with a good host

Jordan was an excellent guide for our custom walking food tour. Not only was he great to work with in the planning, but he went out of his way to find the right places for us. He was able to navigate three generations of interests and food preferences. As a Toronto native he knew so much about the city, its people and the culture. Highly recommend!Great custom tour!

Jordan was the perfect host for our group of Floridians exploring Toronto. From the moment we met he was ready with a cool Toronto vibe, city history, and a smattering of local favorites. The St. Lawrence Market was a vibrant scene to experience on a Saturday. The Peameal sandwich, Ukrainian sour cherry cheesecake and fresh PEI oysters were some of our favorites. Jordan figured out our favorite beverages and took us to an award winning brewery for his favorite beers and poutine. A wiz with beer we were educated on Toronto’s distillery and brewery scenes. After our good byes he sent us off with directions to check out more of his local favorites. Jordan provided Avery personalized approach to our visit In Toronto!Fun day in Toronto!

I had an Airbnb experience walking tour of Toronto booked for my team of 10 from SF visiting our newly opened office in Toronto and 3 days before the host cancelled on us! I went into a panic and found Jordan on Withlocals which I had never used but took a gamble and boy did we win the lottery! Jordan is so knowledgeable, funny and pleasant to work with. He also catered our tour based on what we wanted to see and hear about. Don’t waste your time with any other guide here as I reached out to many and my exchanges with others just as inquiry was very poor. NO ONE BETTER THAN JORDAN!

We had a fantastic food tour experience in Toronto with Jordan as our guide. His extensive knowledge of the city's history added a fascinating dimension to the tour. He had us laughing throughout, and his food and drink recommendations were top-notch. We were a group of 20 for a corporate gathering, and Jordan's flexibility with pricing, location changes, timing, and the extra help he provided made the experience even better. Jordan was a great tour guide. Walking around Toronto and learning about all the historical sites was great. Jordan was very nice, funny and he had a vast knowledge of the city. He went above and beyond to show some of the sites and I truly appreciated it. Historical tour
