I’m a single dad with a deep passion for my hometown, Oporto. I was born and raised in this beautiful city, as were four generations of my family before me. I work with local cuisine and Porto wine tastings, sharing the rich flavors and traditions of my city.

Having traveled across four continents, I’ve experienced diverse cultures, but Oporto remains closest to my heart. On my tours, I love guiding my guests through hidden streets, revealing the secrets of where I grew up, played, and explored. I share stories about the city’s timeless architecture, preserved for centuries.

Jorge educated us on not only the food of Porto but the culture, history and his own life experiences. We had great discussions and saw a lot of the city. Jorge is exceptional and very passionate about his city and gave us the flexibility to see what interested us. A great afternoon for us from Canada and our friends from the UK.A Wonderful Experience!

It is wonderful to get to know a country and a city through their food and Porto is no exception. Jorge was a very good guide, knowledgeable and informative with a lot of love for his city. The market is wonderful and the food we tasted there was amazing. Jorge pointed out the best spots and gave us good recommendations for further food experience in Porto.An excellent food journey

Jorge was very knowledgeable. He showed us all the narrow old streets that were hidden gems. He pointed out the street art that I was interested in. He had so much pride in his beautiful city. We requested to see certain things and he came through. Thanks Jorge. Offbeat tour

Jorge was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We tasted amazing food and also local wine and port. Jorge answered all our questions about Porto and was very engaging. He did not rush and spent extra time with us and showed us special restaurants as well as some suggestions while we were here. The market was amazing.
