Hi, I’m Juan, a friendly, communicative, and passionate person with a great sense of humour. I love talking to and listening to people, sharing stories, and connecting with others. My journey with Berlin began on a sunny Easter in 1999, just a decade after the Wall came down. Back then, the traces of division were still vivid. I planned to stay for just two years, but here I am, 25 years later, still fascinated by this incredible city!

Berlin is a city like no other, shaped by an extraordinary history, especially in the last century. After being destroyed in WWII, many doubted it would ever recover, but like a phoenix from the ashes, it rose to become a symbol of freedom, tolerance, and transformation. Today, Berlin is a unique blend of historic landmarks, modern architecture, vibrant neighbourhoods, and hidden gems waiting to be explored.

I love showing visitors why I’m so captivated by this city, whether it’s through its iconic sites, cultural events, or lesser-known green spaces. I have booked Juan, as our colleagues from Spain came to visit Berlin, therefore we thought it would be nice to have a Spanish guide who shows them around. It was an overall great experience with lots of fun, knowledge and just a good time. Gracias Juan!It was a great experience

Juan has lots of knowledge and history of Berlin and shared in an entertaining way. We visited 4 different Christmas markets along the way. The tastings were not the expected result- one pretzel, one beer, one hot drink and one bratwurst and shared berliner…. Not what a sampler tasting of 6 would suggest for the price of 95 euros a person.Great knowledge but lacked value

Great hour and a half with Juan introducing us to Berlin. He is knowledgeable, and informative and we would’ve enjoyed hearing more if we had more time. He also kindly provided us with lots of tips and recommendations for the rest of our trip. I would recommend to book with him …you won’t be disappointed! Tour with Juan

My wife and I live nearby Berlin and had two Chinese/American visitors over for whom I had mainly booked the tour. We were all extremely impressed with Juan's tour and his abilities as a guide. It turned out, even I did not know the majority of the sites and attractions myself, and - if I did - Juan always had a take on things that shone a new light on them. He is super enthusiastic, lives in Berlin for 25 years and has a profound knowledge of Berlin's history, architecture, arts, culture, libraries etc and obviously loves the city. He is very communicative, answers all your questions, also says when he does not know something (hardly the case though), and often shows you pictures on his tablet. on what places looked like in the past so you can compare them to what you see, today, so you can really get a very good impression of the changes that Berlin underwent throughout history. Juan also suggested two restaurants, one of which we went to after the tour, which was exactly the right thing and reasonably priced. This was a great 3 hour tour through Berlin which deeply impressed us and we can only wholeheartedly recommend Juan as a guide!Outstanding tour and guide!

Juan was friendly, knowledgeable, and took his time to answer all my questions. I wish I had done the tour at the beginning of my trip and not on the last day. I learned so much about Berlin from him, I wish I'd had more days to explore based on his recommendations. I highly recommend the tour and Juan!

Booked the 3 hour Berlin tour with Juan. He was a great guide. Knew all the history of each destination we visited, plus he answered numerous questions from me, recommended a great restaurant at the end of the tour and emailed me a list of other sites to see during my visit based on my interests. I highly recommend Juan.Great experience with Juan
