Hi, I’m Juan, a friendly, communicative, and passionate person with a great sense of humour. I love talking to and listening to people, sharing stories, and connecting with others. My journey with Berlin began on a sunny Easter in 1999, just a decade after the Wall came down. Back then, the traces of division were still vivid. I planned to stay for just two years, but here I am, 25 years later, still fascinated by this incredible city!

Berlin is a city like no other, shaped by an extraordinary history, especially in the last century. After being destroyed in WWII, many doubted it would ever recover, but like a phoenix from the ashes, it rose to become a symbol of freedom, tolerance, and transformation. Today, Berlin is a unique blend of historic landmarks, modern architecture, vibrant neighbourhoods, and hidden gems waiting to be explored.

I love showing visitors why I’m so captivated by this city, whether it’s through its iconic sites, cultural events, or lesser-known green spaces. Juan is a superb guide who has a wealth of knowledge of Berlin. We were visiting Berlin in a quest to find my father’s home in Charlottenburg. Juan located the house and spent time acquainting us with the area. He was prompt picking us up. Neither my husband nor I are youngsters and he paced the tours beautifully. We learned so much from Juan and would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to get a good appreciation of Berlin and its history.Making Memories with Juan

We had the pleasure of being guided through Berlin by Juan, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about the city's rich history and landmarks, but his enthusiasm and energy made the tour feel lively and engaging. On top of that, he was extremely flexible, adjusting the tour to make sure it worked perfectly around our dinner plans. We learned so much while also having a great time. I had an amazing visit to Kreuzberg which will live on as a very special memory of my trip to Berlin - the very best of a number of good experiences. Juan introduced me to the unique history of this area and showed me how this is very much present in the atmospheric, beautiful, iconic and thought provoking streets and buildings we walked through.
