Although I am Polish, Barcelona is my second home since '99.

I came here as an Erasmus student of Art History, planing to stay only a year but I completely fell in love with this amazing city, ended up staying 4 years and graduating with a final thesis about modernismo catalano.

Since than, even though I moved around Europe changing countries and houses, I would come back to Barcelona whenever I could, 4/5 times a year dreaming of moving back one day.

The family life brought me to Palermo first where I am a Withlocals host since 2019, and now , as my son starts his university in Barcelona, now is the time to make my dream come true and put one foot back in Ciudad Comtal.

In all these years I got to know the city well enough, to eventually start looking for hidden gems, legends, secret gardens, particular perspective on well known monuments, all these treasures hidden in the city center, so close and so ignored by visitors.

Fan of panoramic spots, I visited most of rooftop terraces in Barcelona, so count on me for an unforgattable aperitivo with a view.

Graduated in art , visual arts are alway my great passion and I keep myself updated on cultural events every time I passa by Barcelona.

But more than anything I am a real foodie in love with spanish food and always looking for the best spots where to enjoy authentic local cuisine.

Both old historical tabernas with few tables and bill written directly on top of them, where waiter shouts and people laugh out loud, and modern fancy places off the beaten path, but always with excellent and delicious food.

And if you ask me for my favorite zone in Barcelona where you can feel like a loca? My answer will always be Gracia, and I will be happy if you'll want to discover it with me.

Had a fantastic, well rounded tour with karolina yesterday. We gleaned many isights to this beautiful city. Today we visited many of her recommended places "not to miss". She steered us to a lovely seaside restaurant as our tour ended. Beautiful setting..view of the sea and great food. Choose karolina...you'll be glad you did!Fun, Friendly and she knows the city
