Hola! Encantado de conocerte

Sicilian adoptive, graduated in art history and tourism, I’ve been always internationally oriented, curious and eager to discover different cultures.

Before landing in Sicily I lived in Barcelona, London, Paris, Brussels and Nice.

Palermo’s been my home since 10 years already and even if it’s my big love, I don’t think I’ve said the last word yet 😉

With such an immense cultural heritage this city has to offer, oh I tell you, Palermo is a real rough diamond!

So let me take you on a walk and I’ll make you love it almost as much as I do!

I love to read about Palermo’s history, collect anecdotes and hunt for hidden gems, surprising even my local friends showing them spots they didn’t know about.

Always choosing places with soul, magical, mysterious vibe, off the ordinary tourist route, with a double-face and unconventional beauty.

I love walking through the city hunting for the perfect photographic shot, to share on instagram. So come along with me where you'll get the best city panoramic view or we’ll admire amazing sunsets.

I deeply believe that the food is an integral part of the culture, the best expression of the identity and history of a place, so its just unavoidable that on my tour, I will make you eat the best street food from centrally located but well hidden, hundred years old rosticeria, taste a famous spleen sandwich from “the king of Vucciria” and lick your fingers ! And even if you had a dozens of cannoli in your life already, you will never forget the sweetness and perfection of the one we’ll go to eat in the old baroque monastery to finish with the strongest coffe from the historical coffe roasting shop in Palermo.

Had enough of a city noice? Let’s go on a relaxing trekking in one of the natural reserve on the outskirts of Palermo.

And what about aperitivo on the “Caribbean” Mondello beach with a breathtaking sunset view or checking if you are fit enough to climb with me a holly mountain (Mont Pellegrino) for the visit to the Santa Rosalia Sanctuary?

There’s so much to do and see in Palermo and I will be happy to be your local friend fir few hours to show you as much as possible. ☺️

Karolina was the best. She is effervescent and openly shares her love of Palermo. We did the Kalsa and city highlights tour with her and would do again. The Tastings of Palermo tour with Karolina was a highlight of our Mediterranean cruise. We enjoyed walking through the city’s neighborhoods, eating caponata, pasta, and pizza in the marketplace, then having fresh squeezed pomegranate juice, arancini, and finally the best connoli we ever had. Karolina was fun, personable, patient, and informative. She loves Palermo and it shows! I feel like we made a friend!! Don’t hesitate to book with her - just do it. The way to go in Palermo!

What a perfect way to introduce yourself to a new place. Karolina was a fantastic guide, showing us all the key monuments and city sights but it was the back streets and stories that provided a deeper connection to the history of Palermo. What was a bonus was that we were then able to plan out the rest of our trip with places to see in our own time or places we wanted to return, to spend more time. The food recommendations were also brilliant! Thank you Karolina for ensuring our time in Palermo was just perfect!! Just perfect!
