I'm in love with history and archaeology since I can remember of myself, now I have transformed that passion in a way of living: excavations, tour guiding, travelling are my everyday life.

I love make people fall in love with Florence, I'm happy when I go out with my camera, catching details of my city, I feel relaxed when I stare at the river Arno sitting on a sunny parapet, with the wind on my face. And I want you to feel the same!

Our tour with Laura was all we could ask for. It was informative and interesting and gave us an insight into the sense of florentine humour. We learned about the crossroad icons and the fizzy drinking fountain. Laura was very good company and fun to talk to. A great experience all round. I would recommend her and taking the tour. With locals coming out top again!Fabulous tour!

Laura patiently waited for as we tried to find our meeting place near the train station. We had driven from Pienza in Val D’Orcia almost 2 hours. Laura’s background in history and archaeology provided us with so much information on the era of the Medici dynasty from the mid 1400s to the 16th century, their influence over the architecture, art, political power, their feuds with other banking families came alive for us. Our 3 hour tour extended to 4 without hesitation on her part. She gave us a suggestion for a delicious lunch and directions to the tram and our car park. The tour gave us a good understanding of Florence’s importance to the cultural and intellectual growth of all of Europe. Grazie Laura for everything!Our Medici Tour with Laura

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our time with Laura. She was so knowledgable, with her wealth of experience in her day job as an archeologist and passion for history. We learned so much and Laura brought the past to life for us with humour and fun. I thoroughly recommend her as your guide. You won’t be disappointed. Wonderful time with Laura

Laura combined deep historical and artistic knowledge with genuine enthusiasm as a florentine for the city. Her recommendation for lunch was also off the clock and local and she was good fun. Laura is extremely knowledgeable, full of fascinating stories about the historic families of Florence. It wasn't our first time in Florence and we've read guide books, but Laura was able to tell us much more, and more interesting things than dry facts. An amazing morning with Laura who brought medieval and renaissance Florence to life in all its glory. She knows her city inside out and at the end of the tour, you feel you almost know the colourful citizens of the past. A highly recommended tour.Informative, educational but mainly fun!

Laura was fantastic! In the last 40 years I've visited Florence 31 times already yet Laura still and unexpectedly showed me things I hadn't seen before. She has great knowledge of the city and it's history and habits, she's very kind and open, it's a fantastic experience!Fantastic
