Hello, everybody! My name is Lay Long! And I have been living in Siem Reap since I was young! It is almost more than twenty years.

I love making new friends with other people from different parts of the world! Moreover, meeting and learning from new people really deserve me! Hence, being a host or a tour guide is the best way for me to open up the opportunity to meet and welcome you all to my country.

In addition, I have become a tour guide and have been guiding guests for about three years. Siem Reap is always the most amazing place for most travellers who love learning about ancient ruins, culture, historical/heritage sites and nature! I know many beautiful places in my country, especially my Siem Reap city. I have studied about the history of my country, culture, traditions, historical sites, architecture, and ancient temples. I would recommend Siem Reap to you if you are the ones who are keen on learning about history and architecture of ancient temples! Waking up early in the morning to enjoy sunrise at Angkor Wat temple, going sightseeing in the afternoon and refreshing your feeling with the most gorgeous views of sunset on tops of mountains are the most beautiful things I usually do!

Besides the above mentioned heritage places, Siem Reap also has many stunning community-based tourist (CBT) and eco-tourist regions or spots such as Kampong Pluk, Kampong Kleang and Mey Chrey floating villages/communities, Pea Reang Bird's Sanctuary and Kulen National Park!

Last but not the least, there are two famous places for foreigners to have their dinner. Pub Street is one of the best place in my city and it is the most famous spot in the whole country for its richness of mini bars, pubs, discotheques, food and drink! And it is also the best place where most European/American people like gathering around with their friends with nice meals at midday and it always works best in the evening!

And the second popular place to eat in the evening where you can discover our real Khmer cuisine or tastings is 60 Road Market, the most beautiful and longest street market in our city.

We had a great food tasting tour with Long. He is a wealth of informatiobn bringing us to a myriad of places to sample the local cuisine... we found the experience authentic, educational and absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend bringing a good appetite! Would go again. Really enjoyed this Taste of Siem Reap!

We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour with Long. He was very accommodating and made very good recommendations about the food choice that’s on our tour. We tried a couple of areas near the touristy areas of Siem Reap, but the highlight was driving out of the city to the more local markets. The food was amazing and the people were even more amazing. I highly recommend you book with Long. Great tour, great food and great host.

I ask a lot of questions. And Long had answers for all of them. I was looking for a tour that was interesting and fun, but that also provided the history, culture and stories of Angkor Wat- and wow did Long deliver. While I saw other guides along the way breezing past murals with just a few words, Long paused, and took the time to explain the stories - fact and fiction- behind the main points of interest, and of course take lots of questions. I also found our conversations about daily life in Cambodia very interesting. I hope I’ll come back to Siem Reap, and will 100% contact Long when I do.Patient knowledgeable historian

We’re a family of five touring the area and had a fantastic evening with Long. When rain showers passed through, Long adapted quickly—he arranged a tuk-tuk that comfortably fit all of us and adjusted the itinerary to include spots with good shelter, ensuring we could still enjoy the incredible street food that Siem Reap has to offer. Our eldest son loved the beef skewers so much that Long surprised him with an extra serving at the final stop, which was a thoughtful touch. My wife and I particularly enjoyed the Fish Amok and Beef Lok Lak—both uniquely Cambodian dishes that Long was clearly proud to share with us. On the ride home, Long made a spontaneous stop to pick up fresh coconuts for the family, which the kids absolutely loved. I looked into multiple tour guides before deciding on Long and I’m so glad all my research led to him because he gave us the best experience in Cambodia! Our food tour was delicious and being Americans he made sure all the food and drinks were safe for our more delicate stomachs. Long is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about Cambodian history and culture. We learned so much from him! He’s also a very kind person and made sure our entire trip was great including offering help with things my kids might be interested in, where to get an obscure souvenir I wanted, airport transportation, etc - Long was a great resource for everything and I highly recommend reaching out to him for both food tours and custom tours since he is a Cambodian expert!Best of the Best!

My partner and I did the food tour with Long an we cannot rate this experience highly enough! Long chose a great variety of places from sit down redtaurants to street food, introducing us to a whole range of taste experiences. I'm a pesceterian and he had no problems accommodating me. The highlight was the street food on 60th Rd. I will be dreaming of the delicate and delucious fragrances and tastes for a long time; we finished every last morsel! We had hired Long for this day as a guide for a visit to Angkor Wat, the Bayon Temple and the Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider temple). Long is a very dedicated guide who knows a lot about the history of these temples. He speaks clear and calm English. Tuktuk driver and unlimited cold water were available. In addition, Long is also a good photographer. He knows all the beautiful spots to take nice pictures. We can highly recommend Long.The Ultimate guide for Angkor Wat

We've had an amazing food tour with Long. He took us to remote places away from tourist areas. We went by TukTuk, which was great as the weather became horrible and they were so kind to drop is off at our hotel at the end. Food tour with Long

My friend and I had a great evening with Long tasting and learning about many local dishes. Long was a great companion, sharing his knowledge and history, always making sure we had plenty to eat (there was no shortage!) and fresh water. Highly recommend. Fun, tasty, informative
