Born and raised in Mexico City with a total passion for food and eager to discover new things. You can find me wandering around the city, tasting new spots, at a concert or hanging out with friends. I love to navigate through different circles of people and discovered my love for hospitality and connecting with other individuals by chance while pursuing a career in fashion when a friend invited me to work at a local music festival.

Have been lucky enough to live in different countries but always ended up coming back to my city which I love and feel like a fish in its element when exploring it.

Currently undertaking a specialization in Mexican Culture and Gastronomy.

I contacted Luz and asked her to set up a custom tour for me. I wanted to find some handmade jewelry to bring home for gifts. She took me through the artisan market and helped me find every last item on my list. We then took a stroll to try an amazing Gordita and finished off with a lovely walk through the historic central area of Mexico City. She’s knowledgeable about the area, had interesting facts about everything we saw and went out of her way to make me feel welcome and comfortable, which is no small feat. She even walked me to a good spot to catch an Uber and waited with me until I was picked up. I felt looked after from start to finish. It was a great time and a lovely cap on what was already amazing trip. Highly recommended. Great guide, better person. Thank you!A lovely tour of the artisan market

Luz and I had a lovely time exploring the markets. We ate everything ! I learned a lot about the history of food . Luz has a good presence with all the vendors and took me to see exotic foods, flowers, and tasted everything . It was a fast paced fun day !Food Tour

Luz was knowledgeable and friendly, navigating U.S. through ten food stops in El Centro. Good variety, and she was able to answer all of my foodie wife’s questions. Fun street food tour

Luz did a great job taking us to some yummy local tastings of authentic Mexican cuisine. We had a variety of different delicious dishes, and drinks. I would definitely recommend Luz. She was knowledgeable about the history of the food and the city, as well! A Tasty Tour!

The food tour w Luz was not just delicious, but informative! She patiently answered all our queries, and explained each and every food we ate. There were several kinds of taco (all good!!!), some drinks, breads, chicharron, flautas, several more! The walking was not enough to bring down every dish we ate, so go very hungry ;) Thanks for the yummy food tour, Luz!!!Yummy food tour w Luz :)

Luz was absolutely wonderful! We asked to do a 5 hour tour to sample the street food in several different neighborhoods, and did exactly that. Luz was organized and easy to communicate with prior to our tour and full of great tidbits during. Would highly recommend booking with her!

My husband and I enjoyed a great Taco tour in Mexico City with Luz. The tour took place in a quiet neighbourhood outside the city centre, and it was great to eat at a street stall as well as local restaurants (including one included in the Michelin guide). The food was delicious and Luz was a friendly and attentive host. We would highly recommend this tour with Luz.Great Taco Tour in Mexico City

Luz was a fantastic tour guide. She took us to some great spots for tacos and gave us recommendations for the rest of our trip. She was an excellent communicator and flexible with our eating restrictions. She was very knowledgeable about both the food and Mexico City. Our group of four had a wonderful time.Excellent Taco Tour

The 10 tasting food tour with Luz was great. Communication was good prior to the tour, we met in a very busy area of the city. She did a great job integrating the history of the city while walking to our food stops. She also accommodated our group food preferences—2 of us eat meat, 2 are vegetarians. Good integration of sweet and savory options. We were definitely full by the end of the tour! I also appreciated her sending me suggestions for restaurants to try near where we were staying. Great experience and would highly recommend this food tour with Luz. Great food tour in CDMX
