Me and my friends are somewhat disappointed. We had a fun time with the very friendly and professional guide Karina. At the beginning of the tour we were taken to a Polish restaurant to be served soup, pierogis, schnitzel and potato pancakes. Everything was fine with the food but it was far to much to eat straight away. This was followed by ~2 hours of walking, talking and looking at buildings, churches etc. We stopped for a donut and for a warm alcoholic cherry drink that was nice. I think that it was a nice guided tour of which the food of Poland unfortunately wasn't the main focus. It would be far better to do more tastings with smaller quantities at each location. The tour is also called "10 tastings of Gdansk" but we only did 8 tastings were almost all were served at the same time in the beginning. The 8 tastings of Gdansk

Mark had a change of plans so we ended up touring with Kaja and she was a superb guide! Very friendly and informative. We spent 2 hours walking through the main part of Gdansk with her and it was the perfect amount of time. The tour had a really good balance of details and variety of sights - some off the beaten path. One of the best tour guides we’ve ever had! Kaja is an excellent guide!

Our family met with Marek for a food tour of Gdańsk. We learned about Polish food (and vodka) traditions, but what we loved perhaps more was understanding the historical context and influences shaping Poland's culinary landscape. Marek has an impressive knowledge of Poland's development as a nation and he shared stories and answered our questions along our tour. Marek is engaging and it is obvious that he is passionate about Poland and desires to tell the layered and complicated history of the country. I'd book Marek again in a heartbeat. My wife and I booked a food and beer tour in Gdańsk. Marek is a great tour guide and host. He provided history of the region and his personal perspective of the city as we walked through Gdańsk to the restaurants and breweries. The food was plentiful and very tasty! The beer samplings were just as impressive with the highlight being the Jopenbier. I highly recommend Marek as a guide!Fabulous Food & Beer Tour of Gdańsk
