It was our first visit to Prado. Maria’s expertise and charm made our visit very special. We enjoyed the most exciting artwork, well known most and some other surprises, and she gave us a very valuable historical, artistic and anecdotical perspective that allowed us to feel, understand and enjoy the art in a way that would not be possible just by ourselves. She was warm and knowledgeable making our experience a very exciting introduction to the magic of Prado.Magic visit to Prado

We had an excellent tour of the Reina Sofia Museum with Maria Augusta. Her English is excellent and her knowledge of the paintings and the stories behind them made our tour truly memorable. We had two 12 year olds with us and she thoroughly engaged them in our 2 hours together. Excellent tour of the Reina Sofia Museum

We had a fantastic experience with María as our guide in Madrid, booked through Withlocals. My sister and I were on a business trip, hoping to connect with local clothing store owners to pitch a B2B idea, and María was absolutely instrumental in helping us do that. From the start, she was cheerful, professional, and incredibly helpful. She not only guided us through a variety of stores that aligned with what we were looking for, but also helped translate our conversations into Spanish, which made a huge difference in building connections and getting solid leads. What really made the experience stand out was how María went above and beyond — between store visits, she shared fascinating insights about Madrid’s architecture and history, which added a really enjoyable and unexpected layer to our trip. María is a wonderful guide, and we truly appreciated her local knowledge, enthusiasm, and support throughout the day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a personalized and insightful experience in Madrid!

The tour stated we were going to see the Chueca neighborhoods, markets and history. Maria was very friendly but took us to numerous small artist businesses which was nice but not want we were looking for. We feel like we don't know much more about the neighborhood than we did before the tour. We have taken other tours where we felt we captured the essence of the city but did not feel that way on this tour.Nice guide but felt the tour waa random

María is a knowledgeable and delightful tour guide. My daughter and I had a great time learning about the history of the art movements and how they were influenced by Spanish and European history. Maria encouraged us to see the works we already knew and loved and introduced us to new artists who have become new favorites. I can’t recommend this tour enough!Fantastic tour with María!

We had a fantastic day with Maria at both Prado and Sofia. She was friendly and fun as well as sharing her great knowledge of both museums, giving us an excellent sense of art’s development in Spain. She kept our 15yo son engaged too. She was a wonderful person to spend the day with and we absolutely recommend her as a guide and will look for her again if we’re back in Madrid. Thank you Maria!!!Wonderful and Informative.

Maria was wonderful! My family really enjoyed her tour of the Prado. She was very knowledgeable and did great in balancing detail with seeing a wide variety of art. She was also very personable and easy to talk with. The two-hour tour was the perfect amount of time and we felt that we saw all the highlights. I highly recommend her. Great tour of the Prado

We spent a wonderful day with Maria. She is very personable and knowledgeable about the sights of Madrid.
