Hello! My name is Maria Clara. I was born in Medellin, Colombia and grew up in Spain. I'm currently based in London, a city I love and which I now call home after some years back and forth between here and Madrid.

I have guided in Madrid for Withlocals, and I am pleased to do it in London. I am ready to show you around and tell you hints about my favourite places, including museums, art galleries and venues to see the best live music.

Maria Clara took us on an incredible tour of London hi-lights and hidden gems. She was friendly and very informative. She shared a metric ton of London knowledge and history with us. We had lots of fun chatting with her about all things London and life. She has a wonderful laugh, so be sure to bring your first rate material. Awesome Tour & Guide!

Maria Clara did a great job of modifying our itinerary on the fly to make sure it fit into our schedule for the remainder of the day. She was so knowledgeable, answered questions from all ages, and was just a pleasure to be around. Maria Clara was awesome

Ok so maybe the day did start a little dreary, but that was quickly replaced by our time with Maria. From a delicious start at a local tea vendor, through fresh oysters and scallops to a decadent mushroom risotto Maria kept us well fed and informed about local history and historic places. She is super friendly and we felt like we were exploring London through food with a friend - which we feel she became by the end. Over a pint to finish off the tour of course. And by then the sun was, of course, shining! We highly recommend a day with her!A Not So Foggy Day in London-Town

We ask to go to 4 places on a 3 hour tour with Maria & it was perfect. She guided us through a very busy borough market where we got a lunch and some sweets. She knew exactly where to take us! The history was fascinating. Then took a ride on the tube like we were locals. Westminster Abby then Buckingham Palace. Ended in a local pub where for a farewell drink. Maria was so informative and we never felt rushed in a super busy town. We would highly recommend her and will have her take us around to different places next time in town. 1st time in London tour

I completed the Highlights & Hidden Gems of London tour with María Clara and had an amazing time! I was only in London for about 36 hours and really wanted to maximize my time in the city, and this tour couldn't have been a better choice. María Clara is extremely knowledgable about the culture of London—including food, music, art, etc.—in terms of both the tourist attractions as well as lesser known aspects of the city. She also has deep historical knowledge and provided context for every place we visited. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested!Fantastic tour and company!

We had a group of 7 and our guide Maria Clara was a delight. Very communicative and knowledgeable. My problem with the tour was the expense. Basically we paid approximately $100 per person for 10 tastes. I didn’t realize we were going to Borough Market where, as tourists, we visited a few days prior. Had I known, we would have skipped our earlier stop. However she did introduce us to some new spots. But what we tasted was not worth the $700 we paid. I know there are other expenses but just not worth that kind of money. Skip this, do a little research, and go on your own. Great guide but…
