Although Siena is a small town, there is so much to see if you are willing to take the time to look around the corner. This tour is a great way to get an overview of the whole city as well as taste various specialties of the region. The tour takes a little over 2 hours. There is a lot of walking, but the pace is just right. Maria Elena is a delightful host. While guiding us through the city, she provided us with the history and stories of Siena, all the while letting us taste various delicacies along the way. We learned of the Palio, the Contrades, as well as the history of Siena. After the tour, we knew exactly where we wanted to go to further explore this fascinating city. I highly recommend this tour!
