We had a wonderful afternoon of storytelling, seeing sights and learning about the history and culture of Verona. Maria Pia customised it to our requirements given I had hurt my leg and could not walk any distance. She was extremely knowledgable, a great story teller and passionate about her city. Francesco was warm, friendly, engaging with a huge depth of knowledge of the history and culture of Verona. He was able to make a small group tour interesting for adults and teenagers alike. He even managed to take in his stride our late arrival by 10 mins due to a parking problem we had when we arrived in the city. I would definitely recommend this tour. Francesco was onze gids, een zeer gepassioneerde en fiere Italiaan. Hij spreekt super snel, is erg grappig en kent de stad erg goed. Mooie stukjes gezien, goede tips gekregen. Aanrader! Echter 3h is veel te kort om deze knappe stad te bezoeken, wij komen zeker terug!Verona is prachtig, geweldig knappe stad

Maria is a knowledgable and cheerful guide. We learned a lot. This tour is good for people who can’t walk a lot or walk long distances as many stories are shared sitting in the sun on a bench. Only downsides are she took several phone calls during our tour and we were never offered a drink or snack as advertised.

We had one day in Verona and are so delighted that we spent 3 hours with Maria Pia. She seamlessly took us on a tour of Verona including it’s history, architecture and culture that could be described as an adventure! One day in Verona

Our tour guide was not available on the day, but sent another “Maria” in her place which was kind of her. Our Maria was an absolute delight from the moment we met her. We learned so much about the history of Verona, from the Romans to the families who influenced the culture and customs under various rulers and factions. Her manner was charming and made all the details more like “fun facts”. Would highly recommend this tour and if you’re fortunate enough to encounter “Maria” that will be a bonus. Maria Pia was a wonderful guide for our multi-generational group of 5. She told us great stories about the history of Verona. She made sure we kept a walking pace that was good for us while still seeing as much as possible. She was so much fun and made our first day in Verona so memorable.
