Our 10 Tastings of Madrid tour with Marianissa was an absolute delight! From the moment we met her, her warm personality and deep knowledge of Madrid’s food scene made the experience both fun and engaging. She took us to incredible local spots—some hidden gems we never would have found on our own.
Marianissa not only introduced us to amazing flavors but also shared fascinating stories behind each dish, giving us a real taste of Madrid’s culture and history. Her passion for food and the city was contagious, and she made sure we had a fantastic time from start to finish.

Marianissa tailored our tour and was very knowledgeable about the food, wine, culture and history of Madrid and all the various neighborhoods. She definitely took us to local places you would not have found on travel sites. Definitely would recommend her to anyone looking for a personal guide. Marianissa Was Amazing!

We did the "10 tastings of Madrid" tour with Marianissa and it was great fun!
The destinations were really intereating, the food and drinks were top notch and Mariannissa was the perfect host - friendly, engaging and knowledgeable about the city and the cuisine.
I would thoroughly recommend 😀Great host and great tour!!

We had a great time with Marianissa. We hit about 5 locations for food and drink. All the establishments were fairly close so walking was quite easy. Marianissa is from South America and her English and French are excellent. She has a fun charming personality. Someone you would want to hang out with at bars. We felt the price was a bit high for what you got but if price doesn’t matter then definitely do this tour. Fun tour but expensive

There are not enough words to thank Marianissa for sharing such a wonderful walking food tour of Madrid! She was recognized and welcomed by every establishment owner as she crossed their thresh holds. She easily brought us in to the conversation, almost creating the feeling that we were family. It was clear that this young woman is beloved by all. Marianissa is passionate about being a tour guide and she welcomes the opportunity to get to know people from all different cultures and walks of life. She professionally and effeciently followed an organized plan and presented a wide variety of local tastings for us to experience. She shared knowledge about each establishment, their family heritage and how they these families continue to hand recipes down through the generations. The last place we visited, we happened to join a 52nd anniversary celbration of an elegant pastry shop, a business that was first started by the owner's father. She grew up in the business and she was graciously sharing wine with her employees, patrons and close friends. She gave Marianessa a bright smile and hug as we entered her establishment and a hug as she left. Thank you "With Locals" for having such a wonderful tour guide. My husband and I are truly grateful! Marianissa was very flexible - booked a last second tour for us and it turned out great, very fun. Definitely going to book tours with her again in the near future!Marianissa is the best!

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon with Marianissa. She was friendly and knowledgeable, and took us to places that we would never have found on our own (despite trying!). The food was delicious, and she had the history and traditions ready to add context to everything we ate and drank. We particularly liked San Antonio market! Thanks Marianissa. You’re awesome! A wonderful lunchtime adventure!
