We absolutely loved our tour with Maria! We did five tours in total on our trip, and while they were all excellent, my 13-year-old daughter declared this one as her favorite. Maria is so warm, kind, and knowledgeable. She was great with my kids and tailored the tour so that it was enjoyable for them and for us. It felt more like meeting up with an old friend versus meeting someone new. She also offered to keep in touch with us throughout our stay to help us with additional recommendations for restaurants and activities. Our time sharing the delicious churros and hot chocolate with Maria was a highlight of our entire 2-week trip. Wonderful tour!

Maria met us in La Rambla and took us on a lovely walking tour of the area, introducing the history of the area as well as some fun facts and finds along the way. We had lot of fun and learned some local knowledge, and got some great recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try (awesome Paella!). Maria was a great host to my wife, and I, as we explored some of the lesser known areas of Barcelona. We got to taste many of the local favorites, and hear about some of the history of the area. Maria is passionate about her city and it really shows in the stories that she tells. I would highly recommend a tour with Maria for anyone.Great tour of some off the beaten path

Maria was patient, calm, knowledgeable, friendly (all of the above)! It was so nice to just walk around not worrying about getting lost. We were able to keep our eyes on our kids and the sites instead of the maps and also hear the history behind the area that I wouldn’t have been in a group tour. She was patient with my 3 year old who was wanting to stop at every tourist trap in town ;) ! Long story short: we would never have gotten to see what we did without her!Thank You

We had a great tour with Maria. She made adjustment so we could see some Castellers building human towers in a placa. That was a great Catalan experience. Marie was friendly and knowledgeable. I would do a tour again with Marie!Great Barcelona/Catalan experiy

We had an incredible time on the 10 Tastings of Barcelona tour with Maria. She was warm, flexible (even rescheduling when our flights were delayed), and went out of her way to accommodate our vegetarian, non-alcoholic family—including our kids (ages 8, 14, and 16) and grandparents! The food was absolutely delicious—Spanish omelet, toasted tomato bread, and an unforgettable vegetarian paella at a place she brings her own family. Maria made the experience feel so personal, sharing not just food, but her love for her city and culture. We left full, happy, and with amazing memories. Highly recommend this tour—especially with Maria!A Delicious Taste of Barcelona!

Maria is a lovely young woman with a keen sense of humor. We started the tour with a churro and rich chocolate dipping sauce, and an illuminating description of the structure of contemporary Barcelona which we soon visited. We then went to a neighborhood restaurant where we ate 5 or 6 tapas and had two drinks common to Barcelona. The culinary tour ended at a bar where we each (wife and I) had a glass of wine and 2 pintxos, one of the exquisite finger foods in this world.Our time with the Catalan storyteller
