Hi, I'm Marie !

Since I had the chance to go to Erasmus in Spain, I discovered a real passion for travel. I love discovering different cultures, seeing breathtaking sites and learning as much as possible about it.

That’s why, instead of staying six months, I stayed there for two years! It was in this wonderful country that after teaching French for a year, I realized that what I liked to do was to pass on my knowledge.

In 2020, I decide ( and COVID obliges) to return to France to finish my studies.

Today, with a Professional Tour guide Licence in my pocket, my vocation is now to do as much research as possible on the history of the French Riviera so that I can tell you about this unique story and reveal more specifically this unique Nice identity.

I work for Tourism Office, Museum and Agencies as a tour guide but I’m also working in an association in order to integrate international students in the city.

When I'm not working, I love spending time with my friends taking a coffee;doing sport and hiking in the mountains or spending time at beach (the secrets ones, far from the tourists ;) )

I love to talk with people from all around the world and to share unique moment with them.

We had another great experience with “With Locals”! Maria was so much fun and extremely knowledgable! She took us to some fantastic sights and educated on so much! Would highly recommend the Monaco day trip and highly recommend Maria!!Monaco excursion

Marie was very nice and welcoming, very knowledgeable . BUT, we were expecting a more upscale tasting experience, especially for the price of the tour! Not at all what we imagined it would be. Started out with a bag of Socca chips and pieces of sausison, ended with a pigeon invested sidewalk cafe’, a tasting in local wine shop. The owner was very nice but we didn’t particularly like the two wines he chose. All in all, total waste of money Not worth the money!

As a self proclaimed foodie I had a fantastic experience on this tour. Marie was very professional and courteous. She was easy going and made great conversation. She gave us a history lesson as well as a showcase of local food spots and dishes that are special to Nice. Eating food specific to the region I’m traveling in is something I enjoy and this tour really fulfilled that need. Through I was only in Nice for a short period of time this tour made me feel that I was getting the most out of it. Merci Marie ! Great tour for a foodie

The four of us loved our tour of vieux Nissa with Marie. She has a combination of specific, current with historical information to share. We loved the hidden squares and stories of Nice. The climb to Castle Hill gave us another view of Nice from the top. We loved it and her! Merci!Tour extrodanaire! Marie est magnifique!

We are a family of four and booked this tour for our day trip in Nice. Marie was an excellent host of this beautiful city, very friendly, and spoke great English (and was even willing to help us practise a bit of our French, which we really appreciated!). We loved how knowledgeable she was about the wide variety of sites and history of the city, and she gave great recommendations for restaurants and things to do after our tour ended. Absolutely worth every penny for a private tour. C'est top! 👍 Merci beaucoup, Marie!Excellent tour!
