I had a fantastic experience with Matteo! I was traveling solo, so it was me and him on the tour. He made me feel comfortable and was a great guide. The experience was both about food and local tips about Hong Kong. The food selections were amazing, local, and very generous…I was so full at the end! I ate things I would have never ordered myself! Matteo even helped me pick out a handmade brass singing bowl, which I had been looking for all trip! Matteo is fun, knowledgeable, and a great guide. Matteo Rocks!

The thing we hate the most of being tourists is feeling like a tourists. When moving from one selfie point to the next you ask yourself how living in the place you are visiting really looks like. I think the idea of Withlocals is to give you this very insight as if you were living there for a while…and this why we liked Matteo‘s very customized and spontaneous tour so much! We had a very stereotypical idea of HGK before we came and we have now a completely different impression to think about…the best Hongkong 🇭🇰 souvenir 😀 Thank you!Very personal insider tour in HGK

Matteo was absolutely brilliant! Really knowledgeable about Hong Kong and took us through the city's history from past to present day in such an engaging way. He had loads of energy and was really accommodating to what we wanted to see. He definitely knew all the best spots to take us and made sure we got a proper feel for the city. Really organised and enthusiastic throughout - couldn't have asked for a better guide. Would definitely recommend Matteo to anyone visiting Hong Kong!Brilliant tour guide!

The two day food and city tour was authentic! Matteo was engaging, amiable, and had a sense of humor that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. He expertly guided us through a mix of local eateries and hidden gems, offering fascinating insights into the city's culture and culinary history along the way. Each stop was unique and delicious, and we loved discovering places we never would have found on our own. It was a pleasure working with the photographer; he was a very nice person. However, to be honest, I feel the overall value of the photoshoot didn't quite align with the price I paid. As someone with experience in photography, I was a little disappointed by the lack of preparedness regarding suitable locations. We ended up taking quite a few shots in areas that didn't particularly lend themselves well to a photoshoot. Furthermore, I expected a more considered approach to framing and the incorporation of propped settings, especially concerning lighting. While I did receive some good photos in the end, the overall experience left me feeling somewhat underwhelmed given the investment.Was ok experience
