Welcome to My World – Hue City!

Hi there! My name is Ngoc, but most people know me as Matthew. I've been a professional tour guide since 2013. Before stepping into this role, I spent years traveling across Vietnam, exploring its stunning cities and discovering its rich cultural heritage. It was during those travels that I realized my heart truly belongs to Hue, the city I now call home.

I’m incredibly passionate about Hue, and there’s nothing I enjoy more than sharing its beauty and history with visitors. That’s why I became a tour guide here! Hue is a city brimming with ancient history, captivating stories, and natural charm. As the imperial capital of Vietnam during the Nguyen dynasty (1802–1945), it boasts a treasure trove of historical sites, including majestic palaces, sacred temples, and the emperors’ tombs.

I especially love taking visitors on walking tours of the Imperial City, where history comes alive, or guiding them through the serene tombs of Vietnam’s emperors. And, of course, no visit to Hue is complete without a relaxing boat trip along the enchanting Perfume River, a true gem of our city.

Vietnam as a whole is a land of remarkable diversity. From the bustling streets of Hanoi to the tranquil beaches of Nha Trang, it offers stunning landscapes, vibrant cultures, and delectable cuisine. Whether you’re eager to explore ancient ruins, savor authentic Vietnamese dishes, or unwind on pristine shores, Vietnam has something to captivate every traveler. Among all these wonders, Hue stands out—not just for its rich history but also for its unique culture and flavorful cuisine, which are not to be missed.
