We enjoyed our morning with Mayumi very much. She greeted us with warmth that we knew after three hours was genuine. She had read our notes and so she tailored our route, and we modified as we went along. It was a perfect pace and her deep historical knowledge put a lot of what we saw in the context of both history and today. She also gave us great bonus restaurant and wine recommendations!! Mayumi - fun and substance all in one

Mayumi is just awesome! We had the best time walking around Porto with her. She is so passionate about the city and full of life, making the city come even more alive. We discovered a shared passion for good food, so she threw in a few edible moments to make it a more personalized experience. It was so much fun spending time with her, by the end it didn’t even feel like a professional relationship. Highly recommend!Most upbeat and passionate tour guide!

We did a 3h Porto walking tour with Mayumi. She shared her extensive background in Portuguese and world history as we walked through Porto. She was especially good at connecting current events to past and giving us a new, in depth appreciation of life in Portugal. Very informative and enjoyable.

We enjoyed our 3 hour walking tour with Mayumi. She was knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and thoughtful. We learned much about Porto and Portuguese history. We would highly recommend her to future visitors. Excellent way to learn about Porto.

My husband and I (travelling from UK) had chosen Porto to join friends from New Zealand who were touring Spain and Portugal. All four of us love food and wine and Mayumi was the perfect guide to introduce us to the delights of Porto. We all four loved our time with Mayumi. She is informative, funny and engaging and we cannot recommend her highly enough. I cannot recommend the lovely Mayumi enough! Mayumi has so much passion and so much knowledge of Porto. Her tour was so interesting and as a private tour it can be tailored to your requirements.
Mayumi is so responsive on messages too and went out of her way to help our party with recommendations of restaurants whilst staying in Porto.
Not only is Mayumi all of the above but she is the most lovely person. I would 100% recommend Mayumi and book her again for one of her different tours next time.

She shared her obvious passion and enthusiasm for history with us.
Mayumi also expanded into other topics such as local gastronomy and wine tasting.
When we visit Porto again, we will definitely book some time with Mayumi to enjoy discovering new things and places with her.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing many of the sites in Porto with Mayumi! She is so personable, and answered all our questions we had, and added more information about it. She is very knowledgeable, and don’t hesitate to book her when in Porto. She even suggested a fabulous restaurant for tapas that we thoroughly enjoyed! She’s definitely a keeper!Top notch guide
