I think the more we learn, the more empathic we could be, and that's how we could help to make this world a better place. I am currently a student of Social Anthropology, of the National School of Anthropology and History. We truly enjoyed our time with Mariel- in her nuanced perspective as a student of social anthropology, she was able to expertly weave pre Hispanic history to modern day Mexico. It definitely made for entertaining, eye opening and vibrant discussions! Best Historic Center tour!

Mariel is amazing! We initially read about Mariel and her tour guide skills in an article on what to do with 4 Days in CDMX. She did not disappoint. Mariel is an actively studying anthropology student and a native of Mexico City. Her english is perfect and her disposition is so kind and caring. She is patient and incredibly knowledgeable about history, culture, anthropology, language as well as places to eat and see! We had an incredible experience with Mariel! She was so welcoming and truly a genuinely good person. Her deep knowledge of both the city and the country’s history brought everything to life in such a meaningful way. We especially appreciated her honesty and passion—it's clear she loves what she does. Mariel gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants and must-see markets that became some of our favorite spots. Navigating the historic center of Mexico City can be a bit intimidating, but with Mariel, we felt completely at ease. She gave us the tools and confidence to make the most of the rest of our trip.
