I'm a tourism industry professional, above all very energetic and talkative,which is you will agree, a highly useful trait in this line of work. I'm in tourism since 2002; after spending 15y in hotel sales and travel agencies I've decided it's time to once again engage in more personal approach in tourism -guiding.

I was born and raised in Dubrovnik, survived the war as a 10 y. old and can tell those stories trough the eyes & perspective of a child.

I love to spend time outdoors, taking long walks with my family & dog. Exercising has been my daily routine and source of endorphin for years.

I find travelling and meeting new people very inspiring and essential for open mindedness. I am also a volunteer child birth educator in an NGO and member of women's rights network.

I enjoy being a good conversationalist so I only do private tours.

I've never seen GOT show (rare occurrence,I know) and I do not have Instagram so will take you places where I like to hang out, locally owned businesses and not flashy instagrammables. :)

Mia is a brilliant tour guide, we had such a great couple of hours during the Old town walking tour. We started at 6am and cannot recommend doing a tour at this time, you have the city to yourself, there are no crowds and you also beat the heat! Wonderful walking tour, start it early!

Mia was amazing! Our family of 4 hired Mia for a morning walking tour of Dubrovnik. She delivered the perfect blend of information, historical and fun. As a born and raised Dubrovnik local z she has the inside scoop on all the best spots and intel. We had a great evening with Mia! Our travel schedule got just a little delayed and Mia was so gracious about us being a little late to arrive. Then we had the most enjoyable evening with her! She gave us great background about the history and culture of the area and gave us SO MANY great tips for the rest of our stay in Dubrovnik. We had a blast during our tour with Mia! We booked this tour on our first night in Dubrovnik and she helped us start off strong! From offering a historical introduction to the city to sharing her local’s perspective of Dubrovnik’s unique food and culture, we enjoyed great conversation and a deeper appreciation for this very unique city. Mia is an amazing guide. We toured the city with her at 7:30am which was the perfect time to go. Mia was very knowledgeable, friendly and a great communicator. She gave very helpful tips about restaurants, shops, bakeries etc. and her synopsis of the local history was excellent. I would highly recommend her.

Me + my two teenagers had an amazing tour of the old city with Mia. She had an exceptional knowledge of the history, made it all very interesting and had a love of Croatia and Dubrovnik that were wonderful to see. She even shared some local tips on activities and restaurants that we tried later in our visit that were so useful to us-and only someone local would have known. Take a tour with Mia! We enjoyed walking the old city of Dubrovnik with Mia. We appreciated her knowledge of the long history of the city, and sharing personal experiences as a child during the war. She has a terrific sense of humor, and was able to easily connect with our interests and preference to support the local businesses and artisans. She took the time to provide recommendations for locally owned restaurants and shops (we LOVED Carmen!). And offered suggestions for a winery and nearby towns to visit. We explored many of her suggestions and were not disappointed. We would definitely recommend a tour with Mia to friends and family visiting Dubrovnik. Hvala Mia! Time well spent! Hvala Mia!

Mia is the perfect guide to orient you on your visit to Dubrovnik, both the sites in the area and the social and historical perspective. She's an incredibly enthusiastic storyteller about virtually everything in the region. Her recommendations about what to do, where to go, where and what to eat were all spot on. Our visit here has been vastly improved by knowing where to focus our limited time here to do things that we enjoy.
