I got my degree as an Art-Historian in Napoli, my birth place. I fell in love with Florence and Tuscany when I was 25 during a trip and I settled my self in the city of Renaissance. Ex bartender, theatre actor, professional tour guide. I like to create a cocktail with these three ingredients and shake everything to get a magic tour...to drink with you!

Hiring Michele was one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Italy. He was great and we got so much more out of our visit to the Uffizi than we would have on our own or in a large tour group. He was so knowledgeable and just a great companion to spend a few hours with talking about Italian art. Well worth it. Great Experience

Our guide Michele earn his pay within the first 30 minutes showing and telling us all different kinds of extremely interesting things about Florence's history, architecture, art , and culture. Money well spent.Michele was great!

This walking tour through Florence was absolutely unforgettable! “The History of Florence: Famous Medici Family & Pitti Palace Tour” was the perfect blend of rich history, beautiful architecture, and fascinating storytelling. We began at the iconic Odeon Theatre, a wonderful spot that set the tone for the tour with its old-world charm. From there, we explored the grand Pitti Palace, once home to the powerful Medici family, where we learned captivating stories about their influence over Florence and Europe. One of the unexpected highlights was a visit to the official Santa Maria Novella perfumery, a hidden gem full of centuries-old recipes and heavenly scents. Right nearby, the majestic Santa Maria Novella Church left us in awe with its frescoes and peaceful beauty. We were especially moved by the Medici tombs and museums, where history came alive through the stories of power, politics, and art. The tour also included time at the incredible Florence Cathedral (Duomo) — a true masterpiece of Renaissance architecture — and ended at the Museo di Palazzo Vecchio, the heart of Florence’s political history. Our local guide, Michele made all the difference — he was passionate, knowledgeable, and an incredible storyteller. Every stop felt like stepping into a time machine, guided by someone who genuinely loves and understands this city’s legacy. We had no time to research Florence or learn very much Italian. Months before we arrived we booked a tour with Michele, then there we were. And he didn’t judge. He just told us stories about how Florence became what it is. We only have two days here. Not enough. He made us want to come back. Thank you, Michele. Transform from a tourist to a neighbor.
