Born and raised in Lisbon, I have always felt a deep connection to my country’s nature and history. I studied Biology and traveled across Portugal working in Nature Conservation, uncovering the breathtaking landscapes and hidden gems that make this land so special.

More than just a guide, I am passionate about sharing the true soul of Portugal with those who visit us. Our history, our cuisine, and above all, our wine tell the story of an ancient country rich in tradition and culture. To me, there’s nothing better than exploring centuries-old cellars, tasting delicious wines, and diving into the stories that each bottle holds.

Miguel was a great guide for us on our day to Sintra. Expertly navigated to the sights and explained much of the Portuguese history as we drove. We mixed in a lovely meal and wine tasting. Would definitely hire him again!Fantastic day in Sintra with Miguel

Best day!!!!! Miguel picked us up from our hotel and we spent the day exploring setubal. Miguel was AMAZING! It was like spending the day with a good friend. He went above and beyond making sure our day was special. We loved exploring the market- I want to shop there everyday! And the 3 wineries that we visited were all so interesting and so different. The tours/tastings were good at each of these wineries but Miguel was awesome. He would ask them for special little additions so that we could explore even more. A highlight of the day was lunch at Restaurante Bulla in Vila Nogueira de Azeitao - SO GOOD! THE FOOD, THE SERVICE... just outstanding. Particularly the cuttlefish stew.... so delicious!!! Thank you Miguel for a great day! I highly recommend this tour to anyone!!!Amazing day

An excellent tour. Miguel Ferraira was the perfect host, showing us elements of the real Portugal and being really friendly. The two wine tours were both educational and lunch at Restaurant Bulla was excellent. The second winery was better, personally, as was smaller and felt more intimate (Quinta De Catralvos)A brilliant day

We were picked up at our hotel and our wonderful adventure began. Unforgettable local market, studio of a tile artisan, 3 lovely wineries, beautiful vistas, delicious Portuguese lunch, and a much broader understanding of Portugal's history. Miguel was attentive and incredibly knowledgeable. I would urge you to take this tour. A fantastic day with Miguel.

Had a wonderful time with Miguel both entertaining and informative. Wonderful vistas, the market stop was amazing and the wineries are all very different and fun to visit. I would recommend this tour for anyone. It provides a view of Portugal that we have not seen despite multiple trips to Lisbon and the Algarve previously. Setúbal really feels like a place best explored as soon as possible before it becomes as popular as Faro. Wonderful time with Miguel
