Hi there! 👋 I’m Mohamed — born and raised in the heart of Marrakech, and a nationally licensed tour guide with a big passion for sharing my beautiful city with travelers from around the world.

I grew up exploring the winding alleys of the Medina, the colorful souks, and the historical monuments that make Marrakech so special. Today, I get to do what I love most: helping people connect with the real soul of the city — its stories, people, and traditions.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a guiding license from the Ministry of Tourism. I also regularly attend tourism forums and cultural events, so I stay up to date with everything new and exciting happening in Marrakech and beyond.

Whether you’re into history, local life, hidden corners, or delicious food, I’ll do my best to make your time here meaningful, relaxed, and full of good memories.

Just had the morning with Mohamed and he was amazing! Very informative and knew his way around the souks and medina very well. I would definitely recommend!Amazing Guide!!!!!

Mo was very friendly and knew his stuff. He took us around the markets, explaining how it functions. Blacksmith and leather area was very interesting. We loved visiting the university (at an extra cost). All the details of architecture was very intricate. Well worth itVery personable

Tried all sorts of local food with Mo’s friendly, knowledgeable and warm demeanour making it a really great experience for the four of us (including a 12 year old and also a 17 year old coeliac). Mo made great efforts to accommodate the gluten free necessary requirement. Thanks a million Mo! Super guide, very good tour

We had an interesting and comprehensive tour of the sights we selected to see. It included history, architecture, and many things a tourist does not generally see. This was because Mohamed had a thorough knowledge of Marrakech, spoke multiple languages, was professional, friendly, and genuinely concerned we had a good experience. It was a private tour for three of us, and we all felt Mohamed made the tour fantastic!Mohamed is the best tour guide ever!

My 9 yr old son and I had a fantastic tour with Mo yesterday. He took us to lots of fascinating places where he knew the locals and all of the shortcuts. Mo was great with my son, taking time to explain about things that he was interested in. We had breaks whenever we needed them and finished with a local Morrocan snack in market cafe at the end. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Mo - Tom says you are the GOAT G (greatest of all tour guides) !Amazing experience with Mo

We had a fantastic walking tour around Marrakesh with Mo as our guide. From the moment we met him, he was warm, engaging, and full of energy. It was clear he genuinely loves his city. His passion for Marrakesh, its people, and its culture shone through at every stop. Mo’s deep knowledge and intelligence made the experience feel both relaxed and enriching. He answered all our questions openly and gave thoughtful insights into the history, culture, and everyday life of the city. Along the way, we sampled some incredible street food. I’m still thinking about the Moroccan yoghurt with orange blossom; it was delicious. What stood out even more was how Mo connected with our teenage kids (aged 17 and 15). He made an effort to include them in conversations, tailoring parts of the tour to their interests, which made the whole experience more engaging for them too. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mo to anyone looking for a local guide who’s passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to spend time with. We had the pleasure of spending a few hours with Chafik wandering around the Souks, Medina and Madrasa Ben Youssef as a family of four. We asked to see how Moroccan people lived and worked with the Medina and had some wonderful experiences seeing bread/meat being cooked and watching craftsmen at work. We absolutely would not have had the same experiences walking on our own. Chafik made the tour fun and informative for our two children and we all had a great time.
