It was pouring rain but Monika knew all the right spits to walk to stay dry and she stopped at all of the interesting spots, I don’t think we missed a thing. She really knows the city and shared so many ideas and fun facts. Highly recommend her. Great highlights of Copenhagen

Our tour was a little over $500USD for what we expected to be a customized bike tour of Copenhagen. We specifically asked to avoid the most touristy sections of Copenhagen and focus on getting to know how the city was laid out and where the locals lived and frequented. The three hour tour we received was a rushed lap around the city with only one significant stop, a brief coffee break in Christiania (probably the most “touristy” spot on the tour) and very little useful information we couldn’t have gleaned from watching YouTube. This is our first time using WithLocals and I don’t think it’s hyperbole to say we were taken advantage of by Monica. I would suggest any others considering a private tour to look elsewhere as there is no sign thus far WithLocals is particularly interested in remedying the situation.A poor experience for a premium price

Monica did an excellent job showcasing the highlights and must‑see spots around town. The tour was fantastic—we learned a great deal about Copenhagen’s history, the city’s many recent positive developments, and, of course, enjoyed her suggestions for delicious food stops along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting tour of Copenhagen with warm, energetic and informative Monica! She guided us through the various areas of the city while stopping for special foods such as 100% organic hot dogs and unique smorgasbord. A perfect way to tour the city and learn about its culture and atmosphere! Monica was very prompt at responding throughout. She sent us additional touring tips after the tour. The only criticism we have is that the food sampling was small compared to other culinary tours we have taken (e. g., in San Sebastián).A Fun and Tasty Tour of Copenhagen

Monica, our tour guide in Copenhagen was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the city’s history, culture, and food. She shared details about not just the food, but the history of the architecture and city scenery. The focus was authentic local cuisine - and it was fantastic. The pace of the tour was just right, with plenty of time to ask questions and take in the sights. Monica is a wonderful guide! She provided a great overview of Copenhagen on our first day, including City Hall, the Latin Quarter, Vesterbro, and Christiansborg. She loves Copenhagen and shared lots of historical information, food recs, and practical information. If you’re traveling with kids she can take your family to fun playgrounds along the tour.Warm, friendly guide
