Hello everybody!

My name is Nikos. I am born and raised in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki and this is where I have been working as a tour guide for the past 10 years.

I do have a BA and an MA in history and archaeology but I strongly believe that a guided tour is much more than just facts and dates. It is also about the place itself: the people, the unecdotes, the stories that you will not find into history books. So together we are going to not only explore the history and the sights of this incredible place but also feel the beating heart of the city itself.

Even though I have been providing tours professionally in Thessaloniki and all over Greece for a few years now, every time feels like the first time. There is nothing like being outside, listening to the sounds of the city, with good company and showing people the place you love, sharing the details and secrets that make it so special to you. And if I can show you why this place is special to me, then maybe it will become special to you too!

We had a truly wonderful experience with Nikos. He was warm, welcoming, and made us feel at ease right away. The tour combined delicious tastings of authentic Greek food with fascinating historical insights about Thessaloniki. Nikos was attentive, friendly, and open-minded - we especially appreciated how inclusive and LGBTQ+ friendly he was. Overall, it was both a tasty and meaningful way to discover the city, and we highly recommend it. Great tour

We had a fantastic tour with Nikos. He introduced us to the major historical and cultural sites as well as some hidden gems. He made sure we got to know the different neighborhoods around the city center and appreciated the flavor of the local atmosphere. He shared excellent recommendations for restaurants and experiences around Thessaloniki. Nikos was charming, passionate, and very knowledgeable.
