Let me introduce myself to you : my name is Ouidad, which means in English "first step in love".

I am a female certified tourist guide ,accredited by Ministry of Tourism ,Morocco.I have been working as a tour guide for more than twelve years.

Regardless of being an engineer of communication, I am very keen on doing tours because it is a great source of pleasure.

Jan and I chose Ouidad as our guide for the Tastings of Marrakech tour based on the glowing reviews praising her warmth and kindness. From the very start, my intuition told me we were in for a remarkable experience—and we were not disappointed. Ouidad is truly a wonderful person, and that made all the difference. It was incredible how quickly we felt like we were with an old friend. Before each tasting, Ouidad beautifully described the dishes we were about to enjoy, which heightened our anticipation and enriched the tasting itself. Between stops, she shared fascinating stories about the Medina’s history, architecture, people, customs, and traditions, not just from the Medina but from various regions of Morocco. She was very considerate in making sure we felt comfortable with the historical information she shared, recognizing that some guests prefer to focus only on the food while others, like us, appreciate the cultural and historical information. At every stop, we received a warm welcome, and the food was absolutely delicious. I honestly cannot imagine a better guide than Ouidad. We just spent a full day with Ouidad on the Marrakech City Tour and it was absolutely incredible. After having such a great experience with her during the night tour, we knew it would be special, but she somehow managed to make this one even better. What stood out the most were all the thoughtful little extras she included throughout the day. At each stop, she took the time to explain the plan so we always knew what to expect and never felt rushed. That attention to detail made the whole experience feel smooth and relaxed. She also went out of her way to capture beautiful photos of us, which we’ll treasure just as much as the memories themselves. Ouidad is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also so kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about what she does. Spending the day with her gave us a deeper appreciation for Marrakech and the people that call this city home. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Ouidad was wonderful,she is the kindest and loveliest person;she showed me parts of the medina I would have never ever find by myself.She also adapted her tour based on my desires and she had great stories.It made me feel really lovely and safe,and my level of knowledge about Marrakech was greatly enhanced.The next day after the tour, I got lost,and send her a message and she helped me out.Definetly recommend her!Wonderful day in the medina

We had the most amazing evening in Marrakech with Ouidad. From the very start she made us feel so welcome and at ease, and it honestly felt like exploring the city with a good friend. She has such a deep knowledge of Marrakech, but what really stood out was the way she shared stories and little details that made everything come alive. She showed us places we never would have found on our own, and her passion for her city was so inspiring. The whole evening was thoughtful, fun, and full of surprises that made it unforgettable. We can’t thank her enough for giving us such a special experience. We had an amazing tastings tour with Ouidad. The sights, sounds, and of course the food were amazing. Ouidad was so knowledgable and entertaining for all ages in our party but above all Ouidad was so kind and caring!! Excellent!

Ouidad is probably one of the best guides we’ve ever come across. She was immediately warm, loving and kind to us both, and tailored a tour to what we felt like seeing. She clearly did research into our tour needs, including a special restaurant stop so we could enjoy a local vegan dish. She knows everyone, and her knowledge and pride of Marrakech really shone through. We found her style perfect, she gives an overview of where you are, then leaves you to have a look around and get the obligatory pictures etc. She knew the answers to all our questions, and clearly approaches her tours as she does life: with love, warmth and hospitality. She is also hilarious and has a hugely endearing personality. Our tour with Ouidad is now a highlight of our time in Morocco. Our time together went too fast, and we were left wanting more!
