I am a professional and qualified tour guide and have made it my mission to show you places, hidden gems, sights and monuments of Bruges.

Because of my job, I had the opportunity to see many places in the world, especially in the United States and Southern Europe. Although this was fascinating and very inspiring to me, I slowly began to realize that my heart belongs to Bruges. During all those years I didn't see the beauty of my own city. The city in which I grew up : Bruges.

I decided to specialize myself in the history of my hometown. I bought literature, learned to know every museum inside out, spend hours with older people to discover secret topics not covered in any book and finally as a food lover I know almost every restaurant in town.

The tours I offer here will take you around Bruges introducing you to the many facets that Bruges has, including its most romantic bridges and lakes, the underground remains of an old cathedral, a clinic of 800 years, the oldest brewery, the Beguinage, and last but not least, discover with me our famous Belgian beer, chocolates and freshly baked warm waffles.

If you want to get to know a city get to know its food and the history behind it with a local guide. Patrick was the perfect guide showing us real waffles, a brewery, chocolate and other local treats we would never have found on our own. A wonderful authentic day. We highly recommend him! We spent a wonderful 3 hours with Patrick. The city is truly spectacular but you need a guide to truly see and enjoy it. Patrick was also very enthusiastic about his hometown which was evident in his story telling and historical knowledge. So happy we took the tour! Bruges Highlights and Gems

Had a wonderful walking tour of Bruges with Patrick. We would highly recommend him & do other tours with him if we return. He was incredibly knowledgeable not just about the history , culture, architecture & of course food!! But also gave a fun residential flavor to the area that our other cycle guide could not provide. We had the best experience with Patrick. Absolutely cannot recommend this tour enough! Patrick was so knowledge and everywhere we went was delicious! It was a nice mix of sweet and savory so we never got tired of what we were eating. We only spent the day in Bruges, but it was one of our favorite days on our trip. Wonderful tour with Patrick

We did not know what to expect with a food tour, and we were thoroughly delighted with our day with Patrick. Open to anything, we let Patrick control the itinerary. He was extremely organized as he walked us through town, sharing city history as we walked between food tastings. Patrick has great passion for history, and he was so engaging throughout our tour. Everything we consumed was delicious, and we apprecaiated it even more for the background, history and relevance Patrick provided. Highly recommend the experience, and even more highly recommend Patrick as your guide. We are already exploring a return trip to Bruges, and we will certainly take another tour with Patrick if at all possible. Wow! Fabulous 3 hours with Patrick!

It was great to finally meet Patrick in person after having met him virtually on a walking tour of Bruges during the pandemic! Patrick was responsive to questions from the start and helped us land on this amazing tasting tour that was truly enjoyable (and filling)! We walked and drank + ate our way through the city, all the stops delicious and informative. Patrick is just as warm and kind in person as he was on screen. I love his laugh (and you will, too)!
