Hi! My name is Peniel, but you can also call me Penny :) So you're coming to Frankfurt? Welcome! I grew up in this city and I'm happy to show you all the wonderful things I love about it. After graduating from high school, I traveled the world for a year and discovered the concept of the walking tour. I think it's really cool and would love to host guests in my city and show them around. I'm a rather extroverted guy, very hospitable, welcoming and passionate. I've always been very interested in history, which is why I can provide a lot of facts about Frankfurt, Germany and Europe on the tour. However, as the son of refugees, I can also offer interesting insights and a different perspective into Germany's most diverse city. I look forward to your visit in Frankfurt, see you soon!

We were the second half of the tour group that Peniel took and Food and History tour. He was very informative. He not only took us to try great food but he told us about the history of the city; both good and bad. He obviously loves his city ad his job, and he showed it constantly. We all enjoyed the tour and would recommend him to anyone who wanted a guide in Frankfurt. He did a great job taking us to different places, even with some mobility issues.

Peniel was very knowledgeable about the history and food of Frankfurt. He was also very attentive to our needs. When we were tired and needed a place to sit for a few minutes, he took us into the church to explain the church and its history. The food was great, we got to sample a variety of things including the green sauce (on our frikadellen).Frankfurt Food & History tour

We have 3 kids and have found a “food tour” is a good way to get some local history, while having little food intermissions to keep the kids from getting bored. Penny was an excellent host, knew all sorts of city history, patiently answered the kids questions, gave lots of nuanced and interesting tid bits…and we got to try several interesting and tasty items from local cuisine. The walking is minimal and flat (if that’s important for you). Penny also gave us several recommendations on other places to visit in the city during our trip. Would absolutely recommend this tour and Penny as a guide!Fun and informative - highly recommend

Couldn’t fault our walking tour of Frankfurt with Peniel. He was a great guy with a fantastic insight into the history of the city, its landmarks and hidden secrets. He takes time to find out your interests and tailors his tour to what YOU want to do. Even if you don’t know what you want, you could just let Penny take the lead! We had only just arrived and this tour set us up with getting our bearings and giving us the confidence to explore further! He even advised us of areas to visit off the beaten track including eateries away from the tourist areas where locals frequent! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend hitching up with Peniel for a tour! A very knowelegable guide, interesting stories! we really discovered new aspects of the city, we recommand adding 2 more culinary stops, 2 wasn't enough. Penny is wonderful!

Penny was the tour guide at the Frankfurt Christmas Market and he was fantastic! For your tour guide, You want someone who can provide some history and interesting facts but also has enough personality to make everyone laugh and have a good time ... We had the pleasure of exploring Frankfurt with Penny as our tour guide, and he truly made our visit memorable. Penny, a student at a nearby university, brought an infectious enthusiasm to the tour, paired with a genuine smile that instantly put us at ease. Penny's knowledge of the city and its hidden gems was impressive. He took the time to cater to our specific interests, tailoring the experience to ensure we got the most out of our day. Whether we were interested in historical sites, local culture, or culinary delights, Penny had insightful recommendations. He even suggested great spots for dinner and nightlife, which turned out to be highlights of our stay. What stood out most was Penny's warm and welcoming nature. He treated us like family, making us feel not just like visitors but part of the community. Penny also did an exceptional job engaging our teenage daughters, keeping them interested and involved throughout the tour.
