I'm a Multidisciplinary Artist, Photographer and Art Therapist in love with Barcelona. I'm certain you'll have a great time discovering Catalunya with me, as my passion for storytelling and bonding with people makes me a fun and educated host. From Sagrada Familia and Ciudadella Park, to the hidden Gems of El Born and Gothic Quarter, let us go on an adventure together!

I do take days to be a tourist in the region so I get to discover new places, try all kinds of foods and embrace the Catalan culture. I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina but left 22 years ago to live in places such as Toronto, Vancouver, Riviera Maya, Kenya, Stuttgart and Yukon Territories.

In 2009, I visited Barcelona for the first time and for the 11 years that followed, I dreamt of moving here. Life had other plans, so before realizing my lifelong dream I had fun working as a full-time artist in Tulum and Playa del Carmen, taking people on tours along the Mayan Riviera, painting murals in Mexico City, working as photographer in various countries, taking guests to witness the Northern Lights and go ice fishing and dog-sledding in the Yukon Territories.

My wife and I were in Barcelona for three days following a 2-week Mediterranean cruise, and we had no plans in place. I found Ivanna on the "With Locals" website... it was somewhat last-minute, but thankfully she was available. Our 4-hour personal tour was excellent. She started by showing us (and teaching us about) the sights and architecture around La Rambla. She even showed us a "hidden" Roman wall that most people - including many who live in Barcelona - were unaware of. As she learned more about our interest in the culture, people, and history, she walked us through the old, and new, sections of the city. She pointed out architectural points, even explaining that one of the most famous churches in the Gothic district wasn't actually original to that time, even though it looks like it should be - and she had photos to prove it! She gave us history lessons, told us stories, and helped us to "feel" the city we were visiting. We stopped for a drink at one of her favorite locations - Els 4 Cats - where Picasso used to meet with his friends... and then she was kind enough to introduce us to the owner and surprised us with reservations for dinner there the next night. Bottom line, Ivanna offered us not only the best private tour we've ever experienced, she shared herself and her love of the city with us... she was wonderful. If you're looking for a personal approach, look no further. Hire Ivanna without reservation - you'll be very glad you did.Best personal tour we've ever had!

We had an excellent tour with Ivanna, It was a private tour. We discussed our wishes and Ivanne gave her suggestions. We really liked it was a non-rushed tour, we had time for everything. Ivanna was a great person to spend the day with. Great tour

We had the privilege of having Ivanna take us on a day tour to Girona. It was more than what we expected, with Ivanna sharing so much history with us about the city. Ivanna is so easy to get along with and is very passionate. Thank you Ivanna for an awesome day. We would definitely recommend her!

Ivanna was an amazing guide she asked me about what I want to see and experience and she took me to the place’s that I asked for. We also went to the Dali Museum in which she helped me with getting the ticket, I have enjoyed the Museum. We also tried the local food of Gerona, it was a unique experience. Overall Ivanna is a fun person to be with she so generous and full of knowledge. I highly recommend her for this tour. In the end, I feel that I have accomplished what I went for to see. My trip to Gerona

Day in Girona with my 9yo nephew and Ivanna could not have been better. We took the train out, spent time together talking about the history, amazing sushi, beautiful views of the city and great ice cream for the ride home! My nephew said ‘this is so much fun and she is the best!’ several times!Wonderful experience with Ivanna

I had a great tour with Ivanna. I'd spent time in Gothic before the tour so Ivanna changed things around to show me special places outside the main spots that I definitely wouldn't have seen myself. She was fun, engaging and with plenty of energy. I would recommend anyone booking a tour with her. Great tour with Ivanna

Ivanna was an amazing guide. She tailored the tour to meet our specific needs in the time we had in the city. She was so personable, knowledgeable and fun to walk around with. She went at a pace that was comfortable for our group while still fitting in the history and allowing us to get in our photos. Would definitely recommend signing up for one of her tours!
