As an experienced Art Historian and guide, I would love to show you around London's galleries and museums. I am also an artist and run my own Art Consultancy so I live, breathe and love Art!
London is well known for the Queen, its world-class theatre and its extraordinary history - but did you know that it has some of the best museums in the world? The Rosetta Stone, Van Gogh's Sunflowers, Mark Rothko's The Seagram Murals and many hidden gems are waiting for you in London's galleries and museums.
I have lived in London for many years, Washington, Barcelona, Amsterdam and I am now back in London. I have lectured in most museums in Europe and worked at The National Gallery in London. I have experienced different cultures and speak several languages. I lecture in English, but I also guide in French and Italian.

Fantastic tour - Rosa did well to condense it all , you could spend days and days . Her knowledge is fantastic for novices and also for serious art lovers . We all learnt alot in a fun setting . Great place on a hot London day.Rosa on a hot summers day

Rosa kept even the most skeptical of us entertained and delighted. We were on the tail end of 10-day trip and my son (14) and niece (13) engaged throughout the museum, she listened to what they wanted to see and was incredibly generous with her time. I had the pleasure of meeting Rosa back in June for an individual guided tour of the National Gallery. It was a birthday treat to myself. But apart from that, I have a quest to better understand the work of some of the masters.
I have no hesitation in saying that Rosa’s knowledge of paintings, and the way in which she articulates the subject with such passion is inspiring. She has a lovely, patient, approachable manner and I found her to be astute to my inquisitiveness.
Having a good personal guide for a visit to an art gallery is, in my opinion, transformative. It brings the art to life. Thank you Rosa for making my day. It’s the least I can do to recommend you whole heartedly.

Time just flew by as Rosa took us on a in depth tour of the great paintings of the Gallery. At time I felt she was talking to old friends in the paintings and drawings as she brought them to life with explanations and stories. Art History was intermingled with technical explanations as contexts and meanings were explained. My only regret is that time passed too quickly. In a wonderful way, Rosa has totally changed how I think of the National Gallery. We are truely privileged to have such a collection her in London.National Gallery pictures come to life.

We had a 2.5 hour private tour with Rosa of the British Museum and could have done many more hours! She was so interesting and informative about the exhibits we visited. Her sense of humor and insight was captivating. Highly recommend! A great overview of the museum for first-timers. Rosa is full of knowledge and passion

We had a wonderful afternoon with Rosa at the National Gallery. She ensured our group got to enjoy the pieces on our priority list while providing much useful information on the artist, their media, technique and times. I learned more in three hours with Rosa than in all my art history classes. Rosa, you rock!

My husband and I recently booked the guided tour of the British Museum with Rosa and she did an incredible job making sure we got the absolute most out of our time there. It's a *huge* collection, but Rosa navigated us from room to room pointing out the must-sees and telling us their stories with humor, history, and impressive speed. We learned so much and our eyes were basically buzzing with the beauty they'd taken in over the course of our tour. Rosa is a wealth of knowledge, but also finely tuned to making sure the pace suited us, that the tour reflected our interests and our needs, and that we felt we were free to ask any or everything we wanted to about what we were seeing, the controversies around the British Museum, our curiosities about civilizations, religions, mythologies, and more. She was even happy to keep going another hour, but we were the ones who had to go (we had tickets to a show). An excellent tour!An Excellent Afternoon with Rosa
