An Archaeologist by qualification but a food, music and pub buff by choice, I know this city inside out. I can organise access to get you "behind the red ropes", skip queues and make the most of your time in my magnificent city. I've been conducting tours and creating itineraries for visitors to Dublin for most of my adult life and I guarantee groups of friends and families will relish the experience of My Dublin. As a Dad with kids ranging from 20 - 10 I also know how to tailor a family friendly or something slightly more high-octane depending on your aspirations.

Ruairi was great! Very informative and an absolutely phenomenal story teller. He has lots of knowledge about the history of Dublin and had some funny stories about his former tours. He also introduced us to some great local characters and greatly lessened a lot of my biases to boot. Great tour.

So happy we booked this food tour with Ruari! We enjoy doing a food tour to literally get a taste of the city and Ruari delivered an exceptional experience. We had some must see places on our list that I doubt we would have had time to find on our own and thanks to Ruari we actually got to visit them. We really enjoyed all of our tastings and Ruari’s stories. If you are looking for a great food tour, I’d highly recommend this one with Ruari. He also went above and beyond when our flight in was delayed and met us at our hotel which we REALLY appreciated because we almost always get lost in new cities. He also took us on our first luas ride which gave us the confidence to use it on our own. Saved us so much time over the course of our visit. Thank you, Ruari!Fabulous!

Seeing what and where locals eat is a great glimpse into the real lives of residents. Ruairi took me though a wonderful variety of food experience and places as we walked around Dublin for the afternoon. Based on my preferences he created a bespoke tour that gave me great food and drinks while avoiding the tourist traps that are too easy to find. A glimpse into a real view of Dublin

The food selections were excellent and his local knowledge and personal experience with the local food scene made for an unforgettable Dublin experience. Ruairi was an absolutely fantastic tour guide! We loved hearing the history, cultural significance and personal anecdotes about each place we visited! And every bite of food he brought us to was phenomenal! We adored the variety we got to try and he was really attentive to adapting things if he found out one of us wasn’t a fan of a certain flavor (I’m not a coffee person and he remembered that when he gave us some guinness since it’s also bitter and turned it into a cocktail for me so I’d enjoy it more!). Not to mention his wit and sense of humor! We were laughing the whole way! We really felt like we knew the real Dublin a lot better because of his tour and highly recommend him!!Wonderful tour!

Ruairi is an entertaining guide. He has lots of colorful tidbits and facts on the local culture and its history. We had plenty to eat and drink and even bypassed the last stop in favor of the most delicious ice cream at Murphy’s. The stop at Sweny’s Pharmacy was an add on and he was kind enough to pick us up at the train station rather than the originally scheduled meet up. It was a beautiful day in Dublin and a refreshing tour. Thanks, Ruairi Entertaining Afternoon

Ruairi was such a pleasure to have lead us on a food tour through Dublin. He came with waters and Tayto chips for the large amount of kids with us, and all of the places were prepared for our large group. The cherry on top was taking us to a Pub where we learned the proper way on how to pour a Guiness. Truly a wonderful experience, would highly recommend to anybody else visiting Dublin!!Great kickoff to an amazing Ireland Trip
