Ruth was an amazing guide and we sampled the best food. Ruth and Naru explained the history and culture behind the food we sampled. There was plenty of delicious food… some advice don’t eat before 😀Fabulous food tour

I joined Ruth’s cooking class on my own and instantly felt at home. She’s so friendly and chatty, and we ended up talking for ages before starting. When she heard I’d never tried durian, her husband went out to find some so I could taste it 💚 So thoughtful.
Under Ruth’s guidance, I created a range of new dishes, and then we all sat together to share the meal. It honestly felt more like visiting family than taking a class. I can’t wait to go home and cook everything again for my family. A truly wonderful experience, I 100% recommend it!More than a cooking class

We had a very nice food tour with Ruth in Kuala Lumpur. We were suprised how many tastings we got, so do not eat much before you go! Ruth knew a lot about the food and also about history. After the tour Ruth sent us the photos taken of the food and all the names which were difficult to remember. Thanks Ruth!Food tour in Kuala Lumpur

My wife and I booked an Indian cooking class with Ruth, and it was fantastic! We didn’t just learn how to make our favorite Paneer Makhani, we also got to try our hand at other delicious Indian veggie dishes.
What made the experience so special was the conversation with Ruth, so we could have a glimpse into local life and Indian culture. This is the insight you’d never get from a guidebook.
We’re so glad we took this class and had the chance to meet Ruth. And the 3 hours flew by in a flash! If you do join the class, I'd also recommend taking a stroll to the nearby Torana Gate and Little India which just a 15-minute walk away. You’ll love it :)A Taste of Local with Heart!

Het was heel gezellig bij Ruth en haar man. Zij hadden al het nodige voor het koken voorbereid maar er bleef genoeg te doen! Ruth legde duidelijk uit, we leerden veel en op het eind aten we alles lekker op dat we samen hadden gemaakt.
Kortom: voor ons een erg leuke ervaring!Heel gastvrije ontvangst, lekker gekookt!

Ruth (and Nehru) took us on a walking food tour one evening in KL and it was amazing - they are such lovely people, great company and local food experts. It truly was one of the highlights of our holiday and we would highly recommend it to others. Just make sure you don't eat too much beforehand as the food is almost never-ending and Ruth even gave us some of her home-cooked goods as well as a 'doggy-bag' of food from the various stalls/places we visited.Fantastic experience

I had a,really good time. I learnt a lot about the local culture and contemprary life in Malaysia. Of course i did cook and found out how to make some great recipes. I really reccommed this experience as authentic and enjoyable.

KUL was our last stop on our Malaysia trip and we decided to do an Indian cooking class. We were able to book this class 2 days in advance. In total it was a great experience. Not only that we learned a lot about authentic Indian food by cooking 3 different meals and getting explained everything in detail, we also had a great time with Ruth and her husband during cooking and adterwards enjoying lunch together.
Thanks a lot for this great experience Ruth and I hope that we somehow can repeat in future. Great experience with lovely Ruth
