had an incredible experience touring Istanbul with Safiye. From organising our day to advising us on what to do with the remainder of our time in the city she was so helpful. We were travelling with a six year old and Safiye was fantastic at catering around this. She was funny, well informed and well organised. Literally cannot recommend enough.Amazing tour of Istanbul

We booked a three hour Istanbul introductory tour with Safiye. She met us right on time at Galataport. We took public transport to Sulthanamet via the tram. I booked specially because three in the group prefer Spanish and Safiye has a great working knowledge of the language, plus her English is excellent. We toured the Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia, and the Topkapi gardens, plus she provided tips to continue visiting Istanbul the next day (which was the last day as we were on a cruise). Safiye is very kind, personable, and patient, and deeply knows the city’s history and its landmarks. We very much enjoyed our time with her and highly recommend her if you are visiting Istanbul.Perfect Time in Istanbul

I spent the day with lovely Safiye looking around all the "off the beaten track" locations that the locals know. She showed me great turkish coffee, amazing location for lunch, lots of cool suburbs including around Balat and the Asian side as well. She understood my needs and wants as well as catered to my lack of fitness so was able to supplement the walking with public transport in places. More than the obvious, Safiye is easy to talk to, knowledgeable, entertaining, cheerful and I really enjoyed my time spent with her. Thank you Safiye!Safiye is delightful 😊

Safiye is such a cheerful and positive person. She was very informative and proud of the culture of Istanbul‘s Asian side. We especially liked the two types of mussels. The only downside was the rainy weather which made the experience less than perfect.

My daughters and I really enjoyed our tour with Safiye. She set up an itinerary based on our goals and adjusted the focus as we went along on the tour. She also planned a nice restaurant stop for lunch. She was very knowledgeable and engaging as a guide. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a guide to the major sites in Istanbul, and she can provide insights on Turkish culture and history as well.Safiye is an excellent guide

Actually it was all ins. Safiya did say that there was one place that we shouldn't go (can't remember where) but that Istanbul was a safe city and the people friendly. We found this to be true. Anyway, Safiya's strength was her ability to customise her tour to meet our needs. Starting with our request to meet at our hotel and then changing routes and information, as we asked questions along the way. Lots of useful hints and detailed historical background. Very personable, friendly lady. We had a great time.Istanbul, ins and outs
