It was a very friendly experience to be touring with Sammy! He was very knowledgeable about the area and its history, and it was very easy to talk to him and ask questions about the food and the culture. There was a lot of variety with the food (as long as you have no food restrictions), and everything he introduced to us was delicious! Highly recommend this tour program, we wouldn’t have known about other places to sightsee without Sammy to tell us about them. Very friendly and knowledgeable!

We just finished our food tour with With Locals, guided by the incredible Sam – and it was beyond AMAZING! We were blown away right from the very first food stall he took us to. It was a hidden gem: a tiny local restaurant with no English menu and no English-speaking staff – we would’ve had no idea what to order on our own. But Sam took care of everything. He ordered a variety of dishes and explained every bite in detail – not just the flavors, but the cultural stories behind them.
From there, each stop just kept getting better. Sam truly set the bar high from the start and kept delivering one amazing experience after another. After sampling several delicious local dishes, he took us to Or Tor Kor Market using Tuktuk! 😊 He guided us through the market, sharing fascinating insights along the way. We eventually sat down, and Sam ordered several incredible dishes for us to try. The mango sticky rice here was on another level – so different from what we’ve had in Melbourne.
Every dish was a highlight, and Sam himself made the experience unforgettable. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, speaks fluent English, and was fantastic with our kids.
Today’s experience was truly beyond words. We’re so grateful to Sam and With Locals for this unforgettable tour. 100% recommended!Beyond amazing!

Sammy was the perfect guide for us (parents with two kids aged 5 and 9). He was informative without being dry, and found some cool stuff which piqued the kids’ (and parents’) interest. The children really enjoyed feeding the tortoises and the explanations at the temples. Great few hours with Sammy.Fantastic Morning

Sammy showed us his favourite food stops and we loved the mix he chose! This was not our first time in Thailand, so we were happy to be shown dishes that were not known to us!
We took a tuktuk to the market and it was lovely to stroll around and have Sammy point out specific things.
Many thanks for a fun morning!
PS do not have breakfast, it’s sooooo much food!Great food tour!

Sammy was a great guide. We had an awesome day. He helped our kids to feel safe and included, showed us around, always had things our kids could do. Highlight for our kids (3 and 6) was Tuk Tuk and feeding the turtles. It also laid a great foundation for the rest of our stay, as Sammy gave us tons of tips on stuff to do the following days. Really made the difference for our stay!Highly recommended!

Sammy was so friendly, funny and knowledgeable. He took us through the flower market and giving us info on the flowers used for offerings in temples and traditional foods. He also planned a little lesson on opening a lotus flower which we all enjoyed. He took us to a beautiful temple where he explained lots of things to us. The temple was so quite we had it almost to ourselves which was amazing. My 6yr old enjoyed feeding the turtles, boat rides and Chinese fortune telling sticks.
The tour was aimed perfectly to entertain our whole family including our teenager. I would highly recommend Sammy as a tour guide and the family tour in general. We all had the best time, we were sad when it was over. Thank you Sammy. Exellent family tour

Thank you to Sammy for a wonderful morning in Bangkok with my two children aged 7 and 12. We were very jet lagged due a delayed flight but Sammy’s tour kept the children interested for four hours. I loved the market tour and seeing inside a the brick dome of a temple. The children loved the turtle feeding. Highly recommended. Wonderful morning
