I was born and raised in Tokyo.

I have had opportunities to communicate with foreign people since I was a junior high school student, because I joined American summer camp held in Japan.

Many children gathered from all over the world, and we enjoyed various activities in English.

Through this camp , I found I love to communicate with foreign people.

After graduating from the university, I worked for apparel brand company as an assistant buyer who was required to survey the latest trend, shops and culture in Tokyo metropolitan area. So I know how attractive this area is and can customize your a tour of Tokyo and Yokohama to suit your preferences.

As we were travelling in Japan for a couple of weeks with my family (2 adults and 3 young adults / teens), we wanted to experience one of the key highlights of Japan i.e. its fantastic food! we booked Sayuri for two tours of 3 hours or so, one in Tsukiji (the old Fish Market) and one in Kichijoji (a nice with little tourist neighbourhood of Tokyo). We were thrilled with the experience as you can't beat walking around with a real local. Sayuri was able to explain the different fodd stalls and talk about Japenese culture and traditions. The experience was very interactive and enjoyable. Sayuri is very dynamic, speaks a very good english and provided many tips for the rets of our travel. We highly recommend the experience. Sayuri made our visit to Tokyo memorable. She personalized my tour of Tokyo to encompass all the things I told her I liked. She even included recommendations for my 14 year-old son. All her subsequent recommendations were spot on from food, gardens, tea ceremonies to shopping! We also shared stories and laughed together! After taking time to discuss our interests, Sayuri put together a food-focused itinerary. We asked to go to restaurants that English-speakers may not easily find. And she delivered. The food was delicious, and just the right amount of adventurous (which we asked for). It was fun learning about Japanese culture and cuisine. Thank you Sayuri!Great time exploring tokyo’s food

Sayuri showed us around Shibuya and Harajuku, and included a walk around the Meiji Shrine. She was very knowledgeable, and SO accommodating. And she knew the best places to eat. My family and I had an incredible time with her. Thank you Sayuri! Will definitely book with her if ever in Tokyo again.Amazing Guide!

Yokohama Chinatown's food tour was fantastic! Sampling diverse Chinese dishes, especially the authentic xiaolongbao, was a highlight. Sayuri shared fascinating culinary culture. Highly recommended for a flavorful experience!Best Guide
