I am Seden.

My deep interest in kimono led me to come to Japan for studying kimono’s history. During my school period, I traveled to different parts of Japan.

It mesmerized me having experience to live in a country which has a blend of traditional and modern culture. And this made me to decide to live in Japan.

I am still a curious adventurer. I love meeting new people from different countries and exploring the city together!

We booked a private food tour with Seden while in Tokyo and loved the experience. The food choices were excellent and she was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Some of the best food we had was on this tour, which took place slightly outside of the city center which allowed us to also explore a different area we would not necessarily have had the opportunity to see. Seden, truly made my family’s food tour memorable. She speaks perfect English and is fluent in both Japanese and the culture. She took the four of us on a food tour of what the locals like to eat versus the more common tourist traps. She also led us through a beautiful night stroll through a park. The walk was needed because to digest between all of the meals. Trust me, you need a huge appetite to finish off all the food. We didn’t even come close! The most unique meal was the hot table but my favourite was the sushi bar because of the setting and chefs omakase. If you love food, this tour is a must!Amazing guide and local food tour!

Seden was a fantastic guide for our first day in Tokyo. She was kind and thoughtful in helping us to manage our two very overtired boys. She found ways to interest them, give them breaks and answered all of their questions. She also helped us with some specific shopping recommendations, which was great. It was very interesting to hear about her career designing kimonos and her experiences of living and working in Japan. Seden treated us to many interesting food experiences in Kichijoji. This is a fun area that locals frequent. We would have never visited this area had it not been for our tour. The food was great and Seden made it fun with many facts about the area and the food we were sampling. This was one of the highlights of our visit to Tokyo.Great time sampling great food in Tokyo.

We wanted to book a food tour to get to understand the local culture as one of the first things on our three-week trip to Japan, and Seden was the absolute perfect guide. From the moment we met her, she was so kind and explained everything thoroughly. We learned about an area we wouldn’t have had a chance to explore on our own, and got the true local experience. She took us to so many incredible spots and made sure that we got to try a little bit of everything, while explaining the local traditions and even some Japanese history. We couldn’t recommend a tour with Seden more, it’s a must-do for anyone coming to Japan!!!The best welcome to Japan!

Seden greatly exceeded my expectations on our recent food tour in Kichijoji. Her company was delightful and her knowledge of the local food scene was extensive. I was impressed that she wasn't just ordering food for me, but taking the time to speak with the various chefs/staff to determine what was best for me. Her Japanese was flawless. We also got to take a break with a nice stroll to the temple in lovely Inokashira Park. If you're considering a food tour, don't think twice about booking with Seden. You will not be disappointed! We have travelled extensively, but found Seden to be exceptional as a guide. She was knowledgeable, gave us glimpses of Tokyo life off the beaten path , flexible, fluent in Japanese, helpful in making further plans, kept in touch afterwards to make sure our other arrangements were going to work. She has a delightful sense of humour, was personable and kind. Can’t say enough good about her.One if the best tour guides ever!
