I think it's very important for being a good guide, because I have the opportunity to understand better people. One of myy last trips, alone, was in Iceland, I completely felt in love with it! Imagine a tourist from there, coming here and visiting Pompeii, it could be unbelievable! That's why I love traveling: if i know and see different cultures from mine, i will communicate better...and everyone falls in love :)

We had a wonderful visit to Pompeii with Serena! She was an excellent, friendly and knowledgeable guide who was really engaging and informative. She also helped arrange transport (we were visiting while on a cruise) and recommended a delicious pizza restaurant for after our visit! Highly recommended. Fantastic guide!

Serena es una anfitriona excelente que nos mostró su ciudad de un modo distinto y realmente nos encantó y nos sorprendió!!! We booked a 1.5 hour walking tour with Serena as the very first thing we were doing once we arrived in Napoli to begin to get oriented. I loved working with Serena and withlocals.com because we were able to communicate with Serena in advance and ask any questions and tailor what we would do with her based on our interests and needs. I did the tour with my 11 year old so I wanted to make sure it would be interesting and fun for both of us. Serena was friendly and knowledgable and I would absolutely recommend doing a tour with her. Wonderful Introduction to Naples

We chose Serena based on the glowing reviews others had left, and she was every bit as good!! Very knowledgable and friendly, we only had 2 hours available and she efficiently took us on a great route and packed so much in. Would highly recommend.Perfect!

Serena met us at the bus station and took us to Pompeii & Herculaneum on a rainy cold day. Despite the poor weather, her energy and enthusiasm were boundless and we put in a lot of steps that day. Those steps included walking to all the hot spots and new excavations in Pompeii and all the hidden details/gems in Herculaneum. Her explanations of the details was what made the tour so interesting. Thank you Serena! It's about the details!

Unfortunately Serena was sick the day of the visit (she lost her voice), but she found us a great guide to replace us in a very short timeframe, and this new guide was great as well. Overall I had a great contact with Serena to prepare the visit, and I thank her for finding a great back up. We were a 20pax group, and everybody really enjoyed the visit.Great visit, great guide, great experience

Our family group of 3 had a fabulous learning experience with Serena visiting Pompeii. Her extensive knowledge of the history of Pompeii is obvious along with her passion for sharing it. We all felt that Serena is among the best of tour guides that we have been with over many years of travel. When we returned to Naples for the walking tour portion and lunch she went out her way to contact a colleague and find a pizza restaurant that met the gluten free needs of one in our group. Very highly recommend Serena as you will not be disappointed!Grest experience at Pompeii with Serena!

Schon zum zweiten Mal buchten wir einen Besuch in Pompeji mit Serena. In jedem Augenblick ist die Begeisterung Serenas für Pompeji spürbar , dies springt sofort auf uns als Besucher über. Sie sucht die stillen Wege abseits der großen Reisegruppen. Die Zweistündige Führung verging wie im Flug und war in jeder Minute interessant, aufschlussreich und bereichernd. Serena was excellent. From the booking process of customizing our trip including our meeting point in Naples to her knowledge of Pompeii. Our entire family really enjoyed the time spent with Serena. She kept the tour moving to keep our two teenagers engaged throughout our time in Pompeii. She did a wonderful job of showing us the highlights of the park with the proper amount of explanation to give you an understanding of what you were looking at without boring you with tons of useless information. I would definitely recommend Serena and would tour with her again. Pompeii Tour
