Ciao! I am Simone.

I was born and raised in Rome and I love my city! I want to share all the great things that my hometown has to offer and leave you with insider information you will only get from a true local and lover of Rome. The tour I am offering is for people who have limited time but want to gain a genuine feel for Rome, without missing the top attraction.

Variety (never routine!) is a key part of keeping things interesting and fun. So with me, you will find my tour is fresh and flexible. As a guide, I love to learn what interests you so my tour can engage and leave you with a real feel for my city.

I'm an urban cyclist with a big passion for football, I​ love meeting people from all over the world and making them comfortable in Rome. I also love cooking , farm and great wine. I love animals (especially my dog) and being outdoors. I'm a football(soccer) lover and in the evenings I coach a local youth team of which I am very proud.

As a side job in the low season, I tend to numerous olive trees in the countryside hills where I grew up, located north of Rome. During the harvest season in November and December, these trees yield an abundance of high-quality olive oil.

Let me show you my beautiful city and share my passion for art, architecture, history and the local stories of my city.

Simone was so knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions about Rome . He is very polite and so passionate about his job. We covered many areas and learnt so much history to take home with us, I would certainly recommend him as a tour guide to give you a good understanding of Rome before you go exploring yourself.Simone knows his history

We had a group of nine with children and adults. Simone met us on time and enthusiastically began our tour. Throughout the tour he shared information about the food, history and city. I was worried that with nine people we wouldn’t have enough food, but the portions were not only delicious, but more than enough! I highly recommend Simone for your food tour in Rome! Fantastic Experience!

Of all our tours in Rome, this one was the best. Our small group of four felt like true Romans, walking the side streets of Rome to get to all the sites. Simone explained the history of this marvelous city and took us to some great places off the beaten path. Simone was very knowledgably, informative and patient. It is really refreshing to see someone who truly enjoys his work. We all had a great time. Bravissimo Simone!

We spent an afternoon with Simone biking the best of Rome. Not only did he navigate the streets and crowds with ease, sharing much about the history of the places and sites we saw, he shared nuanced insights that added color and character to the tour. We covered a lot of ground, and were able to identify the areas we wanted to spend more time on our remaining day. Simone was super nice to us. He adjusted his schedule last minute to a flight delay we had. He was super friendly and adjusted his speech and tour itinerary to our crew (family with two teenagers). Great guy
