Hello! I work in the arts field as a performer and writer. I was born in Madeira island but in the last 2 decades Lisbon has been home to me. I moved to the capital of my country because i fell in love with this vivid city. Let me show you some picturesque and genuine spots that survived gentrification and tell you about my life experience at this amazing city. Sofia was an amazing guide through the local cuisines and snacks of Lisbon. If you’re here in the summer - ask for the land snails (Caracois)!! I didn’t think I would ever enjoy them but they were my favorite. Our vegetarian had no want for food either - that tomato soup was unbelievable. Sofias love of history and of our shared humanity created such an atmosphere for honest and thoughtful conversation that we will remember for a long time. There was enough food for all of us to eat and be full (with lots of leftovers). This is a must for foodies and Sofia is one of the best we’ve ever had. A delicious feast of food and conversation

We had an informative, interesting and fun walk with Sofia. Very well organised route and a good variety of history, local culture and interesting facts. Sofia very professional and a lovely person to spend the morning with. Highly recommend Excellent tour

Seven of us, from the US, followed Sofia around the old section of Lisbon, where we received an interesting history lesson, as well as enjoying a wide variety of food tastings curated exclusively by her. From pork sliders, to cherry port, to sardines, mushrooms and chicken stomachs, to tomato soup, oysters, fried green beans, and ending with the best Pastel de Nata anyone ever had, we all thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Sofia is passionate about providing the best experience and she did.Enjoyable Food and History Tour

We had a great time enjoying true local food and drink with Sofia here in Lisbon. We met several of the local establishments and she expertly guided us through the area helping us to understand and appreciate the rich culture of Lisbon. Fabulous food tour of Lisbon with Sofia, interesting and informative. Sofia was knowledgeable and friendly telling us about the history of Lisbon and its many people. We got to try local delicacies, including the best Pastel de nata we've ever had.Excellent food tour

We booked the highlights and hidden gems walking tour with Sofia. Sofia, was very warm, friendly, and fun. She was very knowledgable, but also adaptable to our questions and areas of interest. Een super leuke tour met lekker eten! Sofia was een hele aardige host en wist veel te vertellen over de stad! Zelf woon ik een paar maanden in Lissabon maar Sofia verraste me met feitjes en verhalen die ik nog niet kende. Ook liet ze leuke plekjes zien tijdens de tour waar je zelf niet zomaar zou komen! Ze was erg flexibel en paste de tour aan op onze wensen. Wij zouden de tour met Sofia zeker aanraden!Erg leuke tour!

Sofia was so friendly and knowledgeable and a lot of fun. She knew exactly how much to tell us to keep us informed and still held the interest of the kids. The places she took us to for the tastings were excellent choices and we had the best time with her. We definitely recommend her to anybody and if and when we come back to Portugal, we’ll have her take us on another one of her tours. Sofia is awesome! Sofia is the best!
